AIR CONDITIONING - The Central AC at Hale Kona Kai has been repaired and is fully functional as of 8/4/23.

HALE KONA KAI UNIT 404 SPECIAL FEATURES: The bedroom and living room are separated by sliding french doors instead of the traditional closed rooms. This allows the condo to open up into one large space. A great benefit to this layout is that the AC works much more effectively in keeping the whole condo cool.

Our stay was great. Air conditioning was not working and I would have appreciated a heads up about that. The window unit helps in afternoon when condo was warmest. The location, right on the edge of Kona town, was excellent. Loved the amenities in the condo. Binoculars were great for whale watching. Would definitely return
