This sophisticated, spacious, stylish, newly remodeled tropical villa seems to exist in an enchanting, resort-like world of its own, yet it’s just a few minutes from world-class beaches and all the other attractions of Poipu, Koloa and the South Shore. From top to bottom, the exceptionally charming 2-story home is artfully enhanced with tasteful furnishings and custom finishes, and every window frames a stirring view of Mount Hau‘pu, lush tropical foliage, or the sparkling sea.

The 5 airy, well-appointed bedrooms are cool and private, while the 3.5 baths are elegantly embellished with marble, glass, and wood. There’s a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with casual counter seating (and a painterly view), a full-fledged dining room, and a wet bar with wine fridge. Classy details and unexpected touches add to the appeal, from the luminous woodwork and the glossy green-granite counters. All the common areas (including lanais on both levels) are irresistibly inviting, and the natural indoor-outdoor flow is ideally suited for languid relaxation or convivial socializing. Downstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All bedrooms have sliding doors which segue to a sun-splashed, extra-large lanai with a garden where luxuriant tropical landscaping and attractive lounging furniture. To top it all off, a distinctive black-bottomed salt water swimming pool with raised spa and lava-rock waterfall provides at-home entertainment.

The house and garden are almost too delightful to leave, but when you do venture out, you’ll discover a bonus perk: guest privileges at the Poipu Kai complex’s swimming pool and top-flight tennis courts. It’s a pleasant stroll to breathtaking beaches and the opulent Grand Hyatt Resort, and the scenic Green Belt walkway is a small wonder in itself. Not far away, by car, are The Shops at Kukui‘ula: an upscale yet laid-back marketplace with restaurants, stores, boutiques, galleries, special events, and a friendly, festive atmosphere. The Shops are also the site of the lively Culinary Market, where (on Wednesdays) you can find everything from breakfast papayas to artistic T-shirts to delicious local-style treats, icy cold or hot off the grill. And when you’re ready to explore the rest of the island, it’s less than two miles to a highway heading West, East, or North—with breathtaking scenery and once-in-a-lifetime adventures awaiting, in any direction you choose.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house to stay in while getting married on Kauai and it was perfect for our family and a couple of close friends. 5 minute walk to the beach, shopping close by, and we couldn't get the kids out of the pool. House was clean and stunning on the inside. We had a clogged sink at one point and there was someone there to fix it within an hour or two of calling.

This house was the perfect stay for our group of two families and one set of grandparents. The mountain and ocean views from the lanai are amazing, and the lanai and main floor were the perfect place for our toddlers to play. The house was clean and well appointed. Any questions or requests were promptly handled by the management team. For a larger family or group, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My suggestion for traveling families: leverage one of the family/kid gear rental services in the area for toys and beach gear. The management team can refer you.

The home was amazing in every respect- spacious, beautifully appointed great layout, fully functional kitchen and incredible pool - just perfect for our family gathering of 10 people ranging from 2 grandparents, 2 couples with 2 children each (11 mo to 7 years). Having the pool right there and great beaches for kids very close by was a strong point. By far the best stay in Hawaii we have ever had- including the north side of Kauai. Will definitely come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was immaculate with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, amazing view, and fantastic pool and garden area. The kids spent many, many hours in the pool and we all spent a lot of time out on the patio or the upstairs lanai. It was magical and the best vacation rental we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Hosts responded to questions quickly and were very hospitable. We utilized the green belt for daily walks as well as for getting to the beach and local restaurants. I cannot say enough about how great this place was. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again in the future.

My sister's and I spent a little over a week at this beautiful Poipu home. I loved the convenient walking trails to the Grand Hyatt and down to Poipu Beach. And the home was beautiful, with all of the kitchen things we needed to eat in each night. The pool was another great asset. We used it daily! I highly recommend this property.

And the home was beautiful, with all of the kitchen things we needed to eat in each night. The pool was another great asset. We used it daily! I highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful well-appointed Poipu Villa. Perfect for our three generation family reunion! No one wanted to end this stay. We definitely will be back!
