This is a beautiful property that is very remote! Bedrooms and plentifull bathrooms were perfect for our family get together. Only criticism of the property is its location. 30-60 minute drive to hilo or most any other points of interest. Although it is off grid, we never ran out of electricity. Overall, we a great stay!

If I’m being completely honest, this property is my dream!!! All the amenities needed, were provided. Close enough to Pahoa if necessities are needed, far away from the hustle & bustle of daily living. A perfect stay-cation for those looking to escape the stresses of life.
The property has a new owner with AWESOME communication. If you’re not used to living off grid & constantly need power for EVERYTHING, you may want to double check your priorities before renting this spot. Laundry can wait, & so can dishes. But if your not ok with the generator shutting off for a few hours, & stepping away from your phone, tv, or tablet…. You may want come prepared w/ other extracurricular activities. Yet still, cooking is available, a massive yard & pool, running water etc. I have no doubt the little quirks will be fixed! Especially considering how quickly their addressed! Her team of professionals that tended to our inquiries & needs were unparalleled!
Yard is HUUUUUGE!! Perfect for a game of kickball & glowstick tag at nite. Home had everything we needed! Multiple bathrooms available for our elderly ohana & kiddos of young ages. The outdoor shower reminded my cousins and I of our grandmothers place♥️. Kitchen is fully stocked, rooms are clean, bathrooms immaculate((chefs kiss))!!! The view is CRAZY!! (If you understand the 2018 lava flow, you’ll get my gist). The breeze, perfect!!
Love went into building & caring for this place. That is all.
If there’s ever a place I want to run away to again, it’s this one. Everytime!!
