We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It was perfect for our little family. I loved sitting out on the porch and listening to all the birds and nature sounds. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here.

The setting is incredibly beautiful. This home is an neighborhood with large lots, so you cannot see or hear neighbors. The birds and plants were amazing. The porch was incredible. The host provided wonderful suggestions of things to do. It is as bit of a drive for many of these things, but not horrible. We visited Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, and we also did the Puna trail hike which is located right in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here! Reasons for giving it 4 starts instead of 5: -The verbal description is accurate (2 bedrooms and a loft), however the pictures include a bedroom with 2 additional beds an outdoor (covered) kitchen, that are NOT part of the rental, which was a little confusing as to why they were included in the pictures. -The tap water is not potable. Several gallons of good water is provided and refilling at the transfer station was very easy and free, however this could be communicated prior to booking, rather than with the check-in info provided the day before.

A perfect stay in the “jungle”. Everything from the decor to the kitchen was on point. My children (11 & 12) loved having their own rooms. Beds were very comfortable. The house was thoughtful decorated with an eclectic and vintage vibe. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the breeze and our meals. There is a family of cats that live on the property. One of them enjoys getting a bit of love a few times a day. She even ran around the yard with the kids. We were all quite sad to say good bye to her. The entire family agrees that when we come back next year we need to book Christina’s house again!! Thank you for all of your communication and tips. It was a glorious stay!
