We enjoyed our stay here at the Royal Kahana. They provided everything we needed for our stay. I would say that people might want to know the bathroom is a little tight. My husband is a little bit on the bigger side, and so navigating the space in there was a little bit of a challenge for 2 people, but other than that, the rest of the space of our VRBO was fine. It was really nice to have an in-unit washer and dryer.
The property is as described. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The unit has all the needed amenities and was comfortable and clean. Convenient location in Kahana and walking distance to the beach and local shops. The only issue I had was the key did not work on my arrival, but the property manager got it sorted out quickly.
The view is amazing the room was very clean as described. Check in instructions were very easy.

The lovation is great! You can see whales jumping off the balcony. An earlier reviewer stated they had AC trouble which I would honestly have to agree with. Even when set to 70 I neber saw it get below 73.5. I will say though that using the fan made the room quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels and beach chairs were super-convenient. The owners were responsive after hours when we had trouble getting in on the first day. The security on the bottom floor was super-helpful when we needed new room cards because ours expired mid-trip. All in all this is a great property at a great price, and we would definitely visit again if heading back to Maui!
I couldn't adjust the a/c. It was stuck at 75.5 all the time. It was too hot to sleep. The bed needs a new mattress because I kept sliding down hill on the right side of the bed. The drapes need replacing. Daylight creeps through. Can't sleep with light coming through. The outside lock box isn't user-friendly! Couldn't get the box closed after I opened it. I even had my grandson staying in another unit try to help me. The room was clean and looked nice!! I didn't see any bugs, which was fantastic!! Beautiful views from the balcony. Would stay again if the issues were fixed with the mattress, drapes and a/c unit.
Both my daughters stayed here while wife and I were just down the street. The beach and pool were awesome. There is also a small local beach within walking distance that my kids enjoyed. Condos and accommodations were perfect. Thank you for the 2 beach chairs. Very convenient!

I am a solo traveller from Australia. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything I needed for a short break. The welcome pack was a lovely inclusion. The bed was quite soft which I thought might cause my bad back some problems, but it didn't I slept very well. I would book this apartment again if I return to Maui.
We had a great vacation here. The property was beautiful with stunning views and centrally located. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and we would book here again on our next trip to Maui.
