The property was perfect for us to get away and see and hear the crashing of the waves every day. The property had everything that we would need. It was relaxing to sit on the lanai every morning and to be so close to the water. Beautiful sunsets capped off our day. We highly recommend this property!
Beautiful view from unit. Unit is well stocked. Loved having washer and dryer in the unit. Convenient to town of Kona, which is a very busy town. Lamps and blinds in the living room would help with ambience and privacy.
I loved that this is a smallish condo complex and that this condo was exactly as pictured. It was tastefully decorated without a lot of Hawaiiana everywhere. It is perfect for a couple. We enjoyed whale watching from the Lani. The pool and BBQ area were nice. I’ve stayed at several condos over the years and this is the best. I plan to return next year.
The waves were really crashing. Fun to watch the people enjoying the salt water pool as they were drenched by the waves.
Check was a breeze and I loved the system used to enter the condo door, amazing! You walk in to fantastic views of the ocean, it’s so much closer than the pictures appear on the listing, I was blown away! The patio chairs were extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the sandy shore loungers. it was very relaxing listening to the waves crash on the shoreline. The bed was firm but comfortable, I slept great. The a/c was a nice touch although I love the nice breezes that you get when you open the beautiful sliding glass doors and the windows in the bedroom. The shower was very spacious and nice although the glass does not extend far enough so water gets on the floor outside of the shower, so watch for wet tile. We felt the furniture was not terribly comfortable. I noticed it in the pictures so it did not come as a surprise because I don’t find rattan furniture to be comfortable in general. The furnishing looked nice and they have a very nice TV. I loved having a washer and dryer. The location couldn’t be better, only about a mile to the heart of the town where all the good restaurants and shopping are located. We loved our stay and we would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars all around!!

The location was great, as advertised with views from the lanai so we didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the ocean and hear the waves breaking.Very well equipped condo with everything we needed and then some. Communication and responsiveness with the owner and property manager was excellent.The only negative was the firmness of the bed. The rest of the furnishings were very nice and comfortable.I would recommend and stay at the is location again.
Our one week stay was amazing. The condo was clean and well equipped with starter coffee, sugar and spices as well as diswasher detergent and laundry soap. We enjoyed four nights barbequing and sitting on the lanai watching the waves and sunset. A nice 2.5 km walk into town was great for a brunch in one of the many open air restaurants. We loved the relaxed vibe of the big island. We look forward to returning in 2025. Thank you Gary and Yan!

I have stayed at this property 4 times, and I would go back. The owners are very responsive. The place is clean and well stocked. And being a stones throw from the ocean makes it even more special.

Very nice spot to stay, close to everything, lots of nice drives, condo had everything, very well stocked with stuff. less shopping of little things and more time on the beach. Wonderful spot for sunset watching! Hope to be back soon!
Close to downtown Kona, but far enough to be away from the bustle. Beautiful unit with the ocean right out your back door. I will miss the calming waves and sound effects of the ocean. Will be looking to come back soon!

The location was great and the property well kept. We enjoyed sitting on the Lanai every night watching the sun set. The sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks was so relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was there are no curtains across the sliding glass doors. This took away from the privacy as people were able to see in during all times of the day.
We absolutely loved our stay in Yan and Gary's beautiful oceanfront condo. We have stayed in many different condos in Kona over the years, but this was our first time at the Kona Isle. It will not be our last, as we really enjoyed the vibe of the complex as well as the location.
This unit was direct oceanfront and the view was spectacular! Yan and Gary have done an excellent job of furnishing and provisioning the condo. It was the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a vacation rental... even sharp knives! The bed was extremely comfortable.
I spent most of my time in the super comfy swivel rocking chairs on the lanai when we were "at home" in the condo. It was a perfect place to watch the beautiful waves breaking, the many types of birds in the grassy lawn and of course, the gorgeous sunsets.
The AC unit in the living room did a good job of cooling the bedroom at night, which was the only time we needed it. During the day, the ceiling fans kept us quite comfortable.
We will be back!
This condo delivers the relaxing, tropical, low-key Hawaiian isle experience. The place is updated, clean and comfortable with most amenities. The best part is the oceanfront location with lanai -- looking out to lush grass, palm trees, ocean waves and feeling the sea breeze. Along with the inviting mini beach of lounge chairs in sand, under the trees. The location is fairly ideal for walking or driving into town and exploring other parts of the island. We would stay here again.
Fantastic views from the Lanai. Condo is clean, well kept, and has a kitchen with everything you will need. Easy communications with owners made our stay even more enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next trip here.

Everything was fabulous and exceeded our expectations! The suite was very clean and bright and was equipped with everything we needed from cooking meals to being beach-ready. They have thought of everything for an easy and enjoyable stay!
The highlight was waking up to the amazing view right outside the lanai - very private and comfortable to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast or a glass of wine while watching the amazing sunsets.
Perfect location in Kona - close enough to everything but far enough away for peace and quiet. Again, the oceanfront location of suite was perfect to watch the surf, sunsets, and whales - which was the highlight.
10/10 highly recommend!
Beautiful oceanfront condo. The condo was quite comfortable and spacious and well equipped. Loved that there were beach chairs and an ice chest for our various outings. Having A/C for overnight made sleeping comfortable. Property was beautifully landscaped and loved the beach area for soaking up the sun and the pool for cooling down. Our favorite spot is the lanai and whale watching and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We definitely plan on coming back and staying in this condo again.
In my many many many years of renting vacation cottages, I have never seen a home so well-stocked with everything. We took spices and such, but there were many things available had we needed them. Every kitchen utensil imaginable is there. There were numerous things that we bought but were in the house such as trash bags, cooking spray, olive oil, and plastic storage bags. The cooler and wonderful beach chairs were greatly appreciated. A washer and dryer is a great bonus even though we did not use it. Now…..LOCATION! The beauty of the gorgeous water and the pounding of the ocean waves could entertain us for hours. We had not anticipated the fabulous whale watching!!!!!!!! That was amazing. The grounds were immaculate as was the great grilling area. We did not use the on-site swimming pool, but the fascinating tidal pool nextdoor was a jewel. Gorgeous small birds entertained us right on the front lawn.
We were fortunate to have the full moon during our stay. That, combined with the gorgeous sunsets, was a beautiful ambient touch.
We could not have been more pleased with the condo and the area of Kona.
The view from the condo is amazing! The salt water pool is right next door and was so much fun to relax in. The condo complex was neat and tidy, and we really appreciated the quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. I only have two suggestions to make it even better: Accent lighting in the living room would be a huge improvement. It’s hard to read on the couch at night with just ceiling lighting, plus it’s just not very cozy. Also, shades for the lanai doors/windows would be great so you can walk from the bathroom to the bedroom in your birthday suit without putting on a peep show for anyone who might be passing by. Oh - and providing shampoo and soap would be nice. We got in at night and had to run to the store for those items so we could shower after a long day of travel.

The location in Kona is perfect for exploring downtown to the north and all the excellent spots south of Kona. Easy access to two step for awesome snorkeling, magic sands for playing in the waves and great bars and restaurants in town.

If you love tide pools you can walk right out the back door to the rocks to explore and see eels, urchins and tons of fish. We have seen dolphins from the lanai on every visit.
