    If you're a foodie, you'll love the kitchen as it's outfitted for EVERY imaginable culinary need if you desire cooking your own gourmet meals. (The brand new Euro double-oven induction range is a total joy to cook with.) For your convenience, you'll enjoy your own in-unit washer/dryer, and our assigned parking space is 10 steps to the front door. (No hassling elevators) All-new central A/C, ultra hi-def TV’s, Sonos sound system, wine refer, remote solar shade, beach gear, and of course, high-end coffee and espresso machines. Bottom line: We want to provide you with all the creature comforts of a beautiful oceanfront home so you can feel inspired, relaxed, and totally refreshed.

    You'll be staying at the most private end of the famed Maalaea Kai Resort, and only 20 steps from the surf's edge and local sea-turtle sanctuary! We're approximately 200' from our private swimming pool, so instead of hearing kiddie noises, the only sound you hear is the constant surf and tropical breezes passing through the palm trees.
    'The Kai' is famous for its golf-green landscaping, stunning Haleakala sunrises, quiet vibe and the perfect central location to every island amenity. (Our guest reviews rave about the location and laid-back Hawaiian vibe). AND, were just a short 5-minute walk to either the sugar sands of uncrowded Maalaea Beach or Maalaea Harbor.

    John is a great host! His check in process is easy and he is detail when needed. He did all the thinking for you while you stay at his place. From coffee brewing instructions to everything a family would need to have a great day at the beach. He is such a gracious host, you will leave feeling like family. I would recommend his renovated condo next to the ocean. Thanks John!

    Not only were our hosts John and Trish welcoming and incredibly responsive, but they have created THE best condo EVER. They provided A LOT of handy information before arrival and also in the condo itself. We took many of the recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We have stayed in many units in this condo building over the past decades and love its location and amenities, but many of the units are tired and dated. Not this one! This condo unit TOPS them all with its recent renovation and a decorating style that is bright, warm, and inviting — and we loved it! We shared the condo with my sister and her husband — their first trip to Hawaii. The attention to detail shines with hooks, hangers, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, shampoo, sunscreen, plenty of closet space, tour books, hairdryers, first aid supplies. The list goes on and on and on. And the kitchen? Where to begin? Sophisticated coffeemaker with a grinder for beans, espresso machine, spices galore, oils, flour, pans for everything, crock pot, plenty of glasses, beautiful placemats, kitchen towels. You get the idea. And eating on the ground level lana’i? Always! We LOVED being on the ground level so we could walk directly out to the gorgeous lawn area and stroll to the harbor or watch the turtles or take a book out to read in the lounge chairs. And in-unit washer and dryer ensures ease of doing your laundry! I wish there were MORE stars to give the hosts and this condo unit. Five stars just don’t seem like enough! PS. We LOVED the Yale lock on the front door. It made it easy for the 4 of us to have access to the condo without having to worry about a key.

    This condo was immaculate! Clean and comfortable for our family. Being on the ground floor, we could step right out into the backyard and enjoy the view. Communication from the owner was fantastic.

    John and his family have created a beautiful oasis in between and away from the touristy hubbub north and south on the island. Central and a short drive to everywhere, the property is beautifully updated, high end appliances, and outfitted with everything our family of four, plus my brother and niece needed (we rented both John and his brothers units side by side). The morning sunrises are spectacular and the lanai or lounge chairs on the perfectly manicured lawn, ocean front, made this the perfect location for these sun seeking Canadians! “Mahalo” barely covers it, thank you for the outstanding accommodations and all of the recommendations. John is the definition of a “Superhost.” We’ll be returning as O’hana. A few of our own reccos to add to the list: Isana- local fisherman owned sushi restaurant Leoda’s - best pies on the Island!!!     From the moment we arrived to the time that we left, was absolutely flawless, zero issues. The owner had great communication with us the whole time we were there, making sure that everything was going as expected. This condo is very impressive!! You will not be disappointed. Newly remodeled and immaculate! We would definitely book this condo again!!
