We stay at probably 3-4 rentals per year and I think this is my favorite place we have ever stayed. It was perfect. We had our 6- and 8-year old with us... the ground floor was exactly what they needed so they could easily trek down to the beach, visit the tide pools, or head to the pool (which was the perfect temperature!). The lanai was perfect for watching the sunrise or having meals with a beautiful view and lovely breeze. I was worried about the lack of A/C but as other reviewers noted, the breeze made it super comfortable. We very much appreciated the boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels and cooler as well. My kids are already begging to come back next year! :)
This property was a wonderful home base for our week-long trip. Our family of four, including two teens, spent most mornings watching the sunrise from the lanai and ended evenings playing cards there. We saved money by having breakfast in the unit, packing lunches, and grilling dinner one night. The in-unit laundry (with detergent!) was a great convenience.The property manager was friendly and quickly responded to a minor tub/shower issue.A few minor things to note: some curtains could use cleaning, and the primary bedroom door doesn’t fully close due to the bed placement. The beach isn’t swimmable (which we knew), but being just 10 steps from the sand made up for it.We loved the proximity to Safeway and restaurants, and it was easy to explore both the north and south shores. We walked the nearby path several times and appreciated the central location.While my husband was concerned about the lack of AC, the sea breeze kept us comfortable. As a ground-floor corner unit next to the beach, we occasionally heard people talking outside the bedroom window, but overall, the property was quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pros-Check in/out was super easy and seamless. -Welcome basket with local goodies that was a pleasant surprise. -The cross winds at night cooled the place down and was more than comfortable. -Staff was helpful and welcoming. -Rec room on the property that can be used. -Beach supplies for family -Stainless steel and glass oven safe cooking ware. Appreciated because better for health.-Location is walkable to our favorite health store Papaya Cons-Bedroom door with the queen bed does not close and it is directly across from the bathroom so there is no privacy if you have more people staying. -Washer smelled mildewy and we had to wipe several time to clean the gunk off-Washer also smelled of strong laundry detergent. Scent was transferred to our clothes so clothes did not smell clean. I highly recommend switching to fragrance free, color free products. It is better for eczema sensitive clients and better for environment.
My daughter and I were here a week to celebrate both our birthdays. The condo was perfect location and provided easy access to all our activities.
The condo was a perfect size for our family of 4. The views and walking out to the beach from our riom was a HUGE plus. I was concerned with the broken screen for one of the bedrooms since we are on the ground floor. There we was an open monster can left on the kitchen counter. The ice try had hair in it. All of the curtains and fans could use a good cleaning because of the amount od dust on them.tray had h
We have a returned many times to this complex for our annual spring break trips with our two kids since my son was two years old (he is now 10) and this property is our favorite. The location is perfect (right next to tide pools and wading pool) along with swimming pool. My kids have a blast. In addition, grocery store and our favorite shave ice shop is just across the street. The condo is clean and has a fully stocked kitchen for us to heat up our takeouts or make our own meals. The sound of the waves crashing at night and the beautiful sunrises every morning cannot be beat. Thank you for another amazing and memorable trip.
Very clean and comfortable, fully stocked condo, great ocean views and super location in Kapaa. Centrally located on the island for easy access north and south.
Everything was excellent, the unit had everything we could need, and the location was amazing. We had a wonderful family vacation on our favourite island Kaua’i.
We spent 6 nights in this condo in March 2025. The back patio, which is quite open to the public is right near the beach with an amazing view. The condo had all necessary amenities and is in a great location. Short walk to groceries, restaurants and a great VIP Sweets bakery. Kaap’a was a great choice for a Kauai vacation. Would definitely stay again if I was going back to the US.
We loved this condo, the best part was the view. There was a couple days that we just stayed there and enjoyed the beach. I would stay here again
Location, location, location
My daughter and 2 yr old granddaughter loved this condo and location so close to the beach and with a wonderful ocean view. With the easy access to the ocean and the ground floor lawn yard it was great for us and our toddler!I appreciate all of the gear for the beach and snorkeling and also the pack and play and the high chair for our toddler.

My family and i, [myself, wife and mother.] The place was easy to find and conveniently located near both local shops and a chain grocery. Our rental unit was the corner unit closet to the beach/water. At approximately 20 feet from eaither doorstep/patio and another 20 or so feet to the water. The constant sounds of ebb and flow waves. Along with a steady breeze the combo of noise made where it was easy to slip into a brief nap inside the unit or outside in the beach side chairs or pool. I had never had such a relaxing vacation stay. The unit has amenities necessary for an extended stay : washer/dryer, stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker etc (check listing for all.) I will be looking to book this unit again, should i get a chance to return to Kauai.
We have rented a lot of short term rentals all over. This may be the best value we have ever rented. I normally approach where I stay as “it’s just where I sleep” but we found the views and the comfort of this unit so wonderful, we actually adjusted some of our plans to spend more time there. We even ate almost every meal there because the views were better than any restraint we could find. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was hard to leave and we already want to go back.
Great beach/tide pool walking. Swimming pool was a big hit. No bugs or ants in house! Beautiful ocean sounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay for the second time!

We stayed 6 nights in Kapa'a and had a fantastic time. The rental was comfortable and had everything we could need. I especially liked the comfy outdoor loveseat on the lanai. There is a closet with beach chairs, masks, fins, and snorkel stuff which was nice. There's a washer and dryer which we also liked. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condo. We could hear the ocean at night, so nice! Since this is a ground floor unit people do walk by on their way to the beach but we didn't mind. We spent lots of time sitting outside enjoying the view and hanging out with the chickens and local birds.

Condo was great and was ground level corner unit right on ocean. Sheila was super helpful. Centrally located to swimming beaches and snorkeling. Perfect for family of four to stay and eat meals overlooking the ocean.
The condo is the best unit in the complex. Right on the beach with beautiful views of the coastline. Everything you need for a stay is available. New washer/dryer and all other amenities. Short walking distance to supermarket and shops, short drive to the airport, and centrally located on the east coast for easy access to all tourist destinations on the island.
Lovely property that is steps to the ocean! Was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up every morning to watch the sun rise. The beach isn’t exactly swimmable as there are a lot of rocks and waves at this time of the year (November) but because of the central location was really easy to get to swimmable beaches. The property is conveniently located with Safeway, Ross, Wailua shaved ice and other restaurants within walking or close driving distance. We were able to get to north shore or south shore within 30 min either way. The property owner was great to work with. Responded to all of our questions and was very flexible with any of our requests. Items of note: there is no air conditioning but it didn’t bother us as the wind from the ocean kept things cool in the condo and there is good circulation of windows are kept open. We would definitely stay here again!
