Tv was damaged before our arrival, rest was perfect
This was not the best VRBO experience I’v ever had… The overall vibe of the hotel/condo complex is old and fixed up with a new coat of paint. The unit itself is clean but run down (a big part of the ceiling is peeling). I also got the vibe that this owner has multiple units and doesn’t have everything organized. I was proactive and asked the day before check in what we needed to do and I was told “you’ll get an email tomorrow”. We never got an email. I had to ask again at 4:30pm on check in today because my husband and I were trying to get into the unit to change for dinner. There wasn’t an info sheet/booklet to instruct guests how to find the pool or anything in the complex. The VRBO description also says “coin laundry” but it’s not in the condo complex. We texted the unit owner asking him where it was, he never answered, and we had to ask one of the vendors outside the complex if they knew. Turns out it is in the 7/11 behind the complex. We never got an email with check out instructions, so we texted him for those too and finally the morning of our check out he responded “what unit are you in? Throw the trash out down the hall”. Maybe the owner was just having a bad week this week, but regardless we won’t be staying here again.
Overall, a good stay. The place was cleaned when we arrived. The blinds, as stated previously in other reviews, are pretty thin and do allow quite a bit of light in. However, we were still up pretty early each day so not too much of an impact. The air conditioning wasn’t always the best and had to keep it around 62 degrees to really feel like it was working. It doesn’t really reach the bathroom, just impacts the main room. Enjoyed having the coffee maker and fridge in there. The TV didn’t have the best connection and was pretty slow but we had an iPad so it worked out for us. All in all, very easy instructions to get into the place and it was perfect for the two of us, especially since we spent majority of our time outside and exploring. The pool and hot tub at the hotel is great and the coffee shop down in the lobby is absolutely delicious.
If you are planning on doing a lot of activities and waking up early, it’s probably the best bang for your buck. The blinds on the windows do not block the light at all which seems like a quick fix but seeing other reviews seems like it’s been an issue for a while now. Also, one of the three windows doesn’t have blinds at all so lacked some privacy. Overall great for the price and would recommend if you are planning to wake up at sunrise every day

This is a good place to stay if you plan to explore the island all day and plan to crash out at the end of the day. The apartment was great for what we needed.
Positives: good bed; renovated; so-so clean
Negatives: half blind in bathroom so open to pool and other property windows ; makes bathroom extremely hot when sun shining in; one window open in bedroom area so also exposed; elevator is very slow!

Place is clean and fully renovated with the view on the pool . Quiet and close to shops . The building has also a place to store your luggage if you arrive before checking in.
Great location and awesome pool!
It’s got 4 walls and a shower. Could use a couple chairs and maybe a table. It’s a short jaunt to the beach.
