If you are looking for a beautiful, spacious, incredibly clean, affordable condo with fantastic amenities located right in the heart of Poipu….you've come to the right place!! Pakele Kahakai or "Beach Escape" is what our family calls our dream Kauai home. This condo puts you in easy walking distance to world famous beaches, and a very short drive to fantastic shopping, restaurants, golfing, and many other popular attractions! Take a quick stroll just outside the condo on the “Greenbelt Walkway” and you will arrive at Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach in about five minutes, or head the other direction and you can walk to the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Shipwreck Beach in under ten minutes. You could not ask for a more central location in the middle of the action! Poipu Beach has been voted "Best Beach in America" by the Travel Channel and it is not hard to see why. Poipu Beach has a section of calm waters perfect for families with young children, but is also great for snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing. There is a huge lawn area with shade trees, picnic tables, kids play-area, restrooms, showers, and some food options.
With 1329 sq/ft of space, two large bedrooms, two updated bathrooms, and three separate outdoor lanai’s, this beautiful condo not only gives you plenty of room for your group, but you truly feel like you are at home. You will be hard-pressed to find a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo anywhere in Kauai that has this much space! There is an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining room which is great for entertaining or relaxing. The front lanai looks out to lush tropical green surroundings with mountain views, and each bedroom has its own private lanai with stunning garden views. Time your stay right and you can literally pick fresh bananas from the tree off the bedroom lanai! Both bedrooms have king beds, and a queen-size very comfy Murphy bed is conveniently tucked away in the dining room area, making for very relaxing sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Air conditioning was recently added in both of the bedrooms and can keep the entire condo cool. Every room in the condo has ceiling fans, and there are also great natural breezes. You also don't have to worry about bringing your beach gear, we supply everything you need: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach blanket, boogie boards, beach toys, and an ice chest. Family of 5, with kids aged 11,15,18 visiting Kauai in December. The condo was clean, roomy, and the washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, and all other things provided were top notch! We appreciated the boogie boards very much!! The location was so perfect to walk to every sunset and sunrise, as well as 3 beaches.

Had a great time this thanksgiving. Loved the vacation home. Was clean, well stocked kitchen and peaceful ambience. Pool nearby was fun and short walk to great beaches.

Excellent info on the website. Entry to this exceptionally clean condo was easy. Nicely equipped kitchen, spacious with comfortable furniture. Everything worked, every time. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!

Aside from the A/C, great location, and beautiful condo the details are amazing. Motion sensored night lights, batteries, plastic wraps/forks/baggies, lots of games, extra fans, 3 TV’s, laundry detergent….so many little things that make a big difference. The beach gear is also an amazing haul and all of it in great condition. As one who is super picky about cleanliness (think Monica on the sitcom Friends) I didn’t have any complaints or concerns. Super clean, no bugs, and no smells. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It’s so much bigger than expected and the Murphy bed a great bonus.

We usually stay on the north shore but decided to stay in Poipu to be close to some family. Amazing property in a great location, and the hosts were communicative and lovely. It’s a quick 5 min walk through the beautiful community to Poipu beach. The hosts have equipment for you to use and we a absolutely loved our stay.
