Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I did a lot of research prior to this Thanksgiving week stay, choosing the Ilikai Marina (had stayed next door before). The condo is as advertised. Best thing was the always interesting 11th floor corner views of the marina, sunset, etc. Condo was clean and well-equipped. Nice Eaton Square grocery is only a 6-minute walk away. Most places in Waikiki are within a pleasant 20-minute walk, but you are away from the crowds. Good customer service when we had a few questions. Do note that the lanais in this property are really tiny, but the living space is nice.

Well, we did not get to stay here because when we arrived after a 10-11 hour flight, the room was a sauna and couldn't seem to cool. We had text our property mgr, and they just sent us a code. After several communications with both the property mgr. and captain cooks, finally a stand -in for the mgr. came to the room. After many phone contacts, he told us he could move us to the Ilikai Hotel. The location worked out better for us, but we did get a smaller, older, condo needing many updates, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The beach chairs were in pretty bad shape, really embarrassing. We had rented a condo with a separate bed/bath and nice kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. They did give us a partial refund, but the view was not as good. We don't plan on ever using Captain Cook's Mgt again!

Overall it was a nice unit. The tub could be removed or refinished and the doors could be replaced or touched up with some paint. I would say the bathroom needs to be totally redone. The furniture needed to be cleaned or replaced. There were 2 chairs in the table area that legs were broken.
