Beautiful oceanfront Poipu condo in the closest complex to the water. This ground floor corner unit in Kuhio Shores offers stunning ocean views from every room, with the seawall and water just steps from your lanai.
This condo features one bedroom with a king bed, fully-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities on each floor, and there is an onsite manager.
Compared to other one bedroom units, our corner unit has several advantages. The view is spectacular--270 degrees. You can look out towards the bay and the green mountains beyond, and all the way around, down the coast of Poipu. Whales, porpoise, surfers and turtles can all be enjoyed out your door. Speaking of privacy, our bedroom is on the ocean side, not along the hallway on the parking lot side. All you hear are the waves, not late night departing or early arriving guests with their suitcases. The corner units are the largest one bedrooms by square footage with a larger living room area. Another advantage of our corner unit is the superior ventilation. Huge bay windows facing into the tradewinds allow flow through ventilation when the ocean side windows or sliding door are open.
And just in case the trade winds don't blow, we have central air conditioning.
This condo features one bedroom with a king bed. Laundry facilities are found on each floor and there is an onsite manager. The fully-equipped kitchen has a blender, microwave, coffee maker, etc. We have beach chairs & umbrella for guests to use.
Come be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves, relax on the lanai to enjoy a drink and watch the surfers, whales, or the family of sea turtles that come in every evening to feed....

The unit is clean and has an incredible view. The mattress was not the best and my wife did have a sore back after ten days. I recommend that they upgrade the mattress, the beddings and the bathroom towels.

First of all, this condo is probably in the first or second best location on the property. The feeling of hearing the ocean before bed and waking up was definitely a highlight.
There we beach towels, and beach gear available for use which was awesome (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkels)
It’s in a great location and very close to everything. The people on the property are mostly older couples and families. Everyone was super friendly.
The host was responsive with the one request I had (a coffee grinder).
A couple of things I wish I had known before booking:
You are in a “fish bowl”. There is no privacy because people are constantly walking in front of and around the unit. People set up lawn chairs right in front of the back patio to watch the sunset.
Even in the mornings people are right outside your door/windows. There is no privacy, unless you close the curtains, which takes away from the experience.
Secondly, there are invasive parrots in the trees that will absolutely firebomb your car with poop. I spent hours scrubbing off the poop from just one night of parking in the wrong spot. (Don’t park under the trees).
A couple of minor things that could be improved:
Shampoo, conditioner and lotion in bathroom.
Complimentary coffee would have been nice (or at least a few keurig pods). Also maybe a few single use laundry soaps (we washed their beach towels while there).
Overall, it was a solid four star experience.

Everything was wonderful about this property...the views, the inside...everything was thoughtfully appointed and we were so sad to leave. Our next rental on kauai was far less thoughtful and sadly, was a complete let down after staying here. It's perfect, everything inside was amply provided and comfortable. There was a view too from nearly every room. Outside the views were to die for. We'll definitely be back. Mahalo!

The unit is exactly as represented on line. It is very bright and super clean. The location of the unit in the complex is perfect and is right on the ocean. A great location to access Waimea Canyon and south west sites. An easy drive to the north end of the Island and Princeville. The Beach house restaurant is a 3 minute walk from the unit and is excellent. The host Jennifer was excellent and accessible. Would highly recommend this unit and excellent host.

This property is exactly as described, The kitchen is well equipped with any appliance that you may need. There are spices, coffee filters and a pitcher if filtered water in fridge 👍. The beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards are an added bonus. The location is great with lovely beach a short 5 minute drive, there are lots of great restaurants close by, don’t miss dinner at Table at Poipu or La Spezia. The owners were easy to contact and very accommodating, allowing us to stay late on our departure day which made the long trip home much easier
