Manta Ray Manor is an architect-designed, fully functional beach retreat. It's bigger than a bungalow, allowing everyone their own space, but small enough to rekindle the family aloha. High ceilings, expansive windows and large living areas make the home airy, bright and relaxing. The living room, with its expansive seating and 60" TV (if desired), provides a comfortable indoor gathering place. Just off the living room is the tropical lanai, complete with enough outdoor furniture for the entire ohana to lounge and enjoy meals. Relax in the lanai's hot tub under the palm tree framed starry sky.

After a long day, retreat to your private bedroom and bath. Manta Ray Manor's master suite is roomy with its own living area, California king size bed, full bath and private lanai with ocean view and mountain. Fall asleep and wake up to the rhythm of the waves. A second, spacious bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bath resides upstairs. Enjoy peaceful views of island pines, palm trees and Mount Hualālai in the distance. The third bedroom is light and bright with a king bed, bathroom and main floor location. All bedrooms have California closets. Two air conditioning units cool the entire home as needed.

Manta Ray Manor’s custom kitchen is equipped with all the accessories your crew needs to entertain and enjoy great meals at home. This includes a gas range, large double-sided refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, Vitamix and plenty of dishes, pans and flatware. Just off the kitchen is the dining room which comfortably seats 6.

Kona town and famous Ali'i Drive, with their eclectic restaurants, breweries, shopping and lively outdoor scene, are 1 mile away, as is Kailua Pier and its outdoor activities. Fill your days with paddle-boarding, kayaking, whale watching, snorkeling, scuba diving (with giant oceanic manta rays!) volcano viewing... The possibilities go on and on. Our home was of high quality, immaculate condition and clearly as advertised in the listing! The location so close to the village, so close to tide pool and beach access and six or so miles from the airport was ideal. We had five adults but this home would be terrific for a family with children considering the privacy, quiet location and ocean access. The booking, the payment process and access to the home was terrific! We hope that one day we will be able to return to this fantastic property!

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The house is spacious, beautiful, and in a fantastic location. We had a small family reunion with 6 adults and baby. The house is very well equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen, beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, some light workout gear, and even some snorkel gear and tennis rackets. There are lots of great personal touches, such as a thoughtful and informative guide to the house and the area the hosts created themselves. The hosts were were wonderful throughout and communication and check-in were all easy and streamlined. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a great experience staying at this property in December and January. The home is in a very convenient, quiet, well maintained and secure location on the Big Island. It is close to Kona town, the airport and all services but private with its own lovely community beach front. I found that the home exceeded expectations, which were already high, in all ways. It is very clear that the owners care about their guests as the home provided everything one expected in a property at this level but then went above and beyond by having everything that you might have in your own home. The home was immaculate and very well organized. My communications with George were responded to completely and promptly. My only regret is that I could not stay longer as this was one of the best experiences that I have every had with any rental property.
