Chosen as the home for President Obama's six Christmas Vacations between 2011-2016, you will soon want to stay here as well! Our 6500 sqft villa will encompass you with a beautiful Japanese style garden accompanied with an amazing lagoon pool complete with waterfalls, lava rocks, superb landscaping, and beautiful rain-forest foliage. In the distance, you can see the Mokulua islands. You will immediately feel immersed in this beautiful oasis!
The center courtyard has so much to offer. Lagoon pool, Jacuzzi, waterfalls, BBQ, a beautiful landscape and many areas to relax and enjoy it all. On the other side of the house you have a huge yard facing Kailua bay and the Mokulua islands at the end. You will also able to see the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Watching the sun rise at 6am is one of life's treats.
The main house includes a gourmet kitchen, a dining room, two living rooms and three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is on the ocean side giving it beautiful views of the sunrise. One other bedroom with two queen beds is facing the private courtyard with pool and a little seating area and the third bedroom is in between.
There are three more bedrooms outside on the courtyard two of which are suites, giving a very private setting. Lastly there is a small service bedroom with a twin bed and a adjacent but not private bathroom and shower.
The main areas have central A/C and all the bedrooms have split A/C units.
While many other celebrities have also stayed here, for their privacy and security we will not name them here.
A 30 day minimum lease required for any rental. Please inquire about it. There is the option of heating the pool for an extra $200/day, just inquire at time of booking.
On VRBO, taxes are collected at time of booking....

House is in a great location. Only thing I would change is swap out all bedding for clean white sheets and waffle blankets. I don’t care for using peoples comforters, they weren’t duvets either. So they are definitely not washed between guests. Mattresses are also in need of swapping. The house needs some TLC and a deep clean. Even my boys mentioned after coming home “oh I can’t wait to sleep in my clean bed.” Easy fixes. Wish I knew beforehand. Would have made a different choice for the price. Maybe this is what 40k gets you for a week in Hawaii?

The property is fantastic and the hosts are extremely responsive; really going the extra mile from booking to check-in to check-out to make sure this was a great vacation/anniversary for my family and friends.
The pool was a big hit for everyone, especially the kids, and the decor is perfect for a Hawaiian villa..
The short trail to the beach is not for anyone with trouble walking, but that isn’t a problem given the plethora of public beaches within 10 minutes.
Beautiful house and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay.

Great Place, family enjoyed the property. Kids had fun. Beach access not represented correctly in the add. If you expect Beach access its a short walk over some old coral but easy to traverse. No problems with our group but dont expect to access beach from the property easily. We plan another visit in the near future same property. Sherry was most helpful and we want to thank her for a very enjoyable stay.

Our family got together for a family reunion and this place made our reunion very magical. The way the rooms are spread out and the centralized living room and pool area made for a delightful time together. I appreciate the owners for their help and hospitality.

This property exceeded all our expectations.
The view through the open air house to the ocean is spectacular and the house and amenities are first class, from the kitchen, to the in-home gym to the common areas, outdoor deck and bedrooms, as well as the swimming pool. The beach access is a little tricky but the Kailua beach nearby is wonderful. In short we loved our stay here!

We just came home from 2 fabulous weeks at this oceanfront villa. As a group of 9, we needed a house with space, luxury and peace. The home did not disappoint. Working with the owners was delightful. They were highly responsive and worked hard to make sure nothing we needed was overlooked. The home was very clean, with a gourmet kitchen and plenty of everything. We loved that all the bedrooms had privacy and en-suites and the new gym was also an added bonus. The location of the property is perfect - though the walk to the beach definitely requires footwear and is a little treacherous in places, but quite manageable for adults. We highly recommend this beautiful home as a wonderful luxury vacation home.
