E komo mai! Come on in. Papakea J201 offers the best that Papakea has to offer. With windows on two sides of the living room, J201 provides sweeping ocean views from throughout the living, dining and kitchen area. This one bedroom, one bathroom condo accommodates two guests and features newly installed split system air conditioning in the living and bedroom areas. The décor has an understated tropical vibe that is easy on the senses.The owners maintain a well-stocked kitchen that makes it easy to prepare your own meals, especially with the ocean view from the kitchen to inspire the cook. The open-ended lanai is a great place to lounge or dine, while watching the boats and canoes glide by; the clouds drift over Molokai and the tiki torches blazing each night as sunset descends. During the Winter season, you'll see whales breaching and spouting. It's a true Maui experience.

Inside, there's a dining table that seats two comfortably, along with comfortable club chairs making this a great space to gather, kick back and ho 'omaha (relax). There is plenty of storage space for groceries, supplies and gear. Also provided areh beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler as well as an in-unit washer & dryer for additional convenience. The bedroom features a Cal King bed, AC unit, and a TV.

Because J201 is an end unit, there is no noisy corridor or elevator outside the bedroom windows. J building is located away from the Papakea maintenance and service areas, making it even quieter. The lanai is shady the majority of the day, making it usable on warm Maui afternoons and keeping the condo cooler.

The Papakea resort is a low-rise, low density property that was designed to feel like home. Located in the Honokowai community, the area feels like a neighborhood, with its local Farmers Market, convenient food trucks, local beach park, shops, grocery store and convenient restaurants. The resort itself is lushly landscaped and offers two swimming pools and jet spas, a golf putting course, pool-side gas BBQ's, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard, 24-hour security, and full-service concierge desk.

Beach sand on the shore at Papakea is intermittent due to tides and seasonal changes. The scenic Kaanapali beach is a brisk walk away. The high-end restaurants of Kaanapali are nearby, as are the renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali.

The property was probably the best maintained site in my plus 12yrs of coming to Maui. The condo was exactly as described. The only gripe we had was the beach chairs were broken so we had to rent

Our stay at Papakea J201 was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. The bedroom has a king bed that is comfortable and has plenty of storage for a person to put your clothes away and not have to live out of a suitcase. The separate air conditioner and ceiling fan in the bedroom was great, (a person could have one or the other going at night). The bathroom was a good size. The only down fall was that it could use a couple more bath towels. The washer/dryer worked great and we were supplied with enough laundry soap and fabric softer sheets to last us the eleven days we were there. Kitchen is very well equipped. There is everything you need to cook all your meals at the condo, and everything works 👍. The condo supplies you with a small and a little bigger cooler, beach towels and beach chairs (the chairs need to be replaced). The living room area has plenty of room for two. The balcony is great for morning coffee or evening meals. All and all this condo was great, would definitely stay at this condo again. Check in was easy and staff at Papakea Resort are friendly and helpful. We will be back and look forward to staying at Papakea J201. Thank you for a awesome stay. Donna

My husband and I loved the property and J201. View from balcony is just like the pictures. Loved eating breakfast on balcony. Walked to food truck park and brought supper back to room to eat it on the balcony. Very clean! Great relaxing location. Can walk to some restaurants and grocery store.
