    THINGS TO NOTE:
    This studio does NOT have a kitchen, no microwave or hotplate. It is not allowed by the county of Kauai.A mid stay cleaning for 10 nights may be required for an additional cost apart from the departure clean fee that is quoted. This unit is privately owned and daily maid service or towel refresh that is normally offered in hotels does not apply to this unit. There are coined laundry centers at the resort for guests to use (at the expense of the guest). This unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Regular basic cable is included. TV does NOT include online streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime etc.

    The bellman service is complimentary however gratuity is very much appreciated. The resort provides a dedicated Bellmen daily from 7am to 10pm. During the late evening/early AM hours, the resort's security team steps in and can assist as well should there be a need. It’s as easy as calling or texting the Front Desk (contact numbers provided at check-in) to put in a request for a ride to their destination, whether it’s the beach, parking lot, Happy Talk, pools, back to the unit, etc.

    Resort and parking fees not included in price and not mentioned in booking. Had to take shuttles from parking lot to condo otherwise it was at least a quarter mile walk up and down hills.

    My husband and I are so happy we stayed here. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We wish we could stay. Beautiful location. We spent so much time on our lanai taking in the magical Hanalei views wow! The entire room is clean and spacious and with a comfy large bed. We were thankful for the resort staff and rental manager who were all responsive and helpful with any of our questions or needs. We will definitely be back to stay here again! Thank you!!!

    The property, Hanalei Bay Resort, is beautiful however I probably wouldn’t recommend this specific unit. There was an ironing board but no iron. I messaged the host to get an iron as it was my husbands birthday and had a nice dinner planned. The host told me I need to email the property management company, who told me I need to contact the front desk, who told me I need to contact the property management company (since it’s a private unit and they don’t handle anything going on inside the unit), who then told me I need to contact the property management on site liaison and they would have that person contact me - obviously that never happened. Can’t imagine what would happen if there was a real issue like the a/c being out. Also property lists there is a microwave but there wasn’t, just mini fridge, coffee pot, and plates and silverware. The view is great but I’d recommend looking for one with a different host.
