Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been coming here since 2006. I have always had a fantastic time! This location is amazing...so beautiful and peaceful! The staff is great. They are there if you need them, yet you feel like this place is your home!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had stayed here before. The fires really changed the overall feeling of the area in a negative way. The grounds were nice but the pool was cold. The unit itself was oddly furnished with a small TV. All in all, just OK.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hale Kai has a great atmosphere, many people know each other. So easy to meet others, not like a big resort. Prices are increasing, which is understandable. However, this is an older property and many units could use some internal updates. At the new price points, there are other accomodations nearby that are now very competitive. Still, the 'vibe' of the Hale Kai is what brings people back - and I'll be back next February.
