Amazing condo in Maui! Our flight arrived quite late however check-in instructions were easy to follow and seamless. The condo itself is very comfortable and well equipped with extras (beach chairs, umbrellas, laundry soap, etc.) The property itself is gorgeous, clean, and well-maintained by staff. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to stay again!

The unit was perfect for my daughter’s young family. Super clean, great extras in the unit (sand toys, wagon, umbrella, chairs etc etc). Excellent communication. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable and nicely decorated 1 BR unit with partial ocean view. Necessities provided. Clean. Good bed linens. Nice to walk out on ground level to ocean or pool…and sit on lanai enjoying view. Beautiful landscaping and pool area. Long ocean front lawn with lots of seating where guests sit to look at the ocean and waves, watch whales and visit with each other. Front desk area is attractive with a welcoming and efficient staff. Close to shopping and dining. Dawn was very responsive to questions and taking care of needs.

We stay at this property 1-2 times per year and our first time at this property. Dawn was so wonderful at communication and the unit was perfect. Ground floor is our favorite because we are just steps from the pool and ocean ...and our kiddos love to chase the birdies on the grass outside. We found a wagon in the closet which was AMAZING!!! We used it every day we went to the beach which was so helpful to lug our stuff aroub 10/10 thabk you Dawn!
We were there for my sisters wedding. The unit was conveniently located with a view of the pool and the ocean. It is perfectly stocked with family items like cards, games, beach and pool necessities. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and organization. Dawn was an incredible communicator and super helpful! Thank you! We will be back!

We have stayed at Papakea around four times. We love the tranquility, being away from crowds. The only problem we had (not the owners’ fault) was that our reservation was listed incorrectly at check-in. It was under the name of “Stauch” the last name of my first husband and the former last name of our daughter, who has stayed at Papakea. Check-in took someone longer.
This condo was a blessing: from the decor, comfy bed, well appointed kitchen, beach chairs and towels to the incredible Maui sunsets.
My husband I stayed her for our 30 Anniversary. Everything was perfect. It was our first stay in a VRBO. Our host checked in periodically and made sure we had everything. Would definitely come back again. Thank you! Definecheintmwe had everthing and ffereed

The unit and property was amazing. The unit was VERY well stocked with kitchen essentials. All the necessary pans, colanders, utensils & basic spices. It was above and beyond expectations. It was nice not to have to rent beach chairs & bugge boards as they had these in their fun closet along with board games and coolers. The furniture was very nice and well maintained. HVAC worked fabulously as it was a hot and humid week. 5+ stars for this one bedroom!
Great property that is quiet and well maintained. The beach is easiky accessible and you are able to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. It's located close restruants, beaches, and other activities.
Dawns condo is fantastic. Brings with it the feeling of staying in a home and not a hotel room. You’ll find all your needed beach extras like chairs and whatnot. Water view is incredible. Bed was very comfy. Overall great experience.
We had a wonderful time at this Papakea property! The hosts are kind and responsive, and the listing is just as described. We loved being able to walk right out onto the green and enjoy meals on the lanai. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the unit was, which added to the at-home feel. It is well equipped with everything you need and echoing other posts about the comfortable bed. The pool and grounds are well maintained, and you can't beat the location on the beach. If you visit, be sure to check out Papi O'hana's, a block from the property, for the best cinnamon rolls you've ever had. We will be back!
This was a user-friendly vacation suite at first sight. Colorful, personal, full of amenities, and comfortable in a convenient location for the view, cabana, pools, and gardens. We spent time on the patio and cabana for meals and visiting others in our friends' 50th Anniversary party. Everyone used the shuffleboard, cliffside lounges, pools, and even the well-behaved grass for some stretching sessions. Inside, the kitchen was well used and the bed is truly perfect. Dawn was always available. The adjacent convenience store is early-coffee-and-treats-friendly too! We'll have happy memories on all counts!
E105 was the prefect place for our 10 day visit to maui. Everything was great for these grandparents who rented 4 pther rooms for our children and grandchildren. Your rental provided us with a Home base for game playing bothe inside and on the patio. We were close to the pool so we were able to watch the GK's come back and forth to their unts. PS the lighting in the living room was very dim. We purchased different light bulbs but nothing helped. One of our Son-in-laws put one regular bulb in the chandelier and they all produced more light! Not sure what the bulb configuration was.
Papakea is always beautiful with well tended grounds, entertaining whales and nearby amenities. Dawn and Tom were great to work with, frequently communicated and their unit is well placed, clean and provided everything we needed. Would not hesitate to deal with them again.
Papakea is Paradise on earth this is our second time staying at Papakea Dawn’s property is so beautiful and it is a great location on the property. We will definitely stay here again!
We had a fantastic three weeks at Dawn and Thomas’s condo. They were excellent hosts. The condo is wonderful. Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots & pans. The bed was very comfortable and the third person in our party using the hide a bed said it was very comfy also.
The resort shoreline is not really a beach but we saw some people in the water. Some snorkelling, others paddling in the shallows at low tide. Pool was great, warm and quite large with a deep end.
The resort was exceptionally well maintained. Lots of staff cleaning the greenery, walkways and pool. Front desk staff were wonderful.
With so many restaurants, food trucks, plus the ABC store and Times Market close by you did not have to go far to get food or supplies. We had pizza from Paradiso, lunch at Java Jazz, Ribs from the food truck plus several other restaurants around the island. We never had a bad meal.
We had a car and did quite a bit of sightseeing. We revisited the Maui Ocean Centre. Took a drive to Wailea. Also drove up to Maui Wine which was fantastic. If you haven’t been, go. Beautiful views. Even if you don’t drink wine it is worth the trip. Don’t miss Costco if you have a membership, largest selection of macadamia nuts to be found I’m sure plus excellent wine collection and a huge roasted chicken for $4.99. Stock up on Aloha Ice Tea and Maui Potato Chips and you are set.
This was our first trip to Maui and we absolutely loved Dawn's place. It was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean & check in was a breeze. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the kids loved the pool and putting green. Dawn was quick to respond to any questions i had. The condo is located in a beautiful area with lots of stores close by. We will definitely be coming back and I would HIGHLY recommend Dawn's place for anyone that wants to experience paradise.

The property is beautiful and well kept. Great pickle ball and tennis courts. Pool area is spacious. Loved the koi ponds and mini golf areas. Never felt too crowded. Would have liked more of a beach but I understand Mother Nature takes care of that.
Nice and clean and plenty of room. Nice to sit on the Lanai for some morning coffee and watch the ocean waves. Pool is very refreshing.
