This was our second time at this property and we had another great experience. Perfect for our family of 3. Great location near the community pool and a wonderful view from the lanai!
One week at a condo that I have stayed since 2014. It changed owners, but the new one is as attentive as the previous one - and the views of sunset, Pacific, par three golf hole are as wonderful as always. It helps to have an attentive owner living in the unit next door to make any question answered and resolved (if needed) quickly. I love it and regret I just booked a week instead of more after a long East Coast winter.

Tastefully and attractively furnished and decorated. A very complete kitchen and many appreciated beach amenities like chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, etc.
We enjoyed our stay so much, we had the coastline view, the golfers on the course and the wildlife too! Buff left a welcome gift and the condo was clean and welcoming.
We used the pool every day and got to see some of the Ironmen at their workouts. We would stay again in a heart beat!Thanks so much Buff!!!
Very well equipped and comfortable condo with a view over the golf course down to the coast Sunsets are spectacular. Close to pool, tennis courts and golf along with a market and a few good restaurants. Steep stairway to loft but nice bedroom and large bathroom if you watch for the low beam. Downstaiybed very comfortable.
Great condo with a great view of the sunset! Buff, the host, was great in letting us checking early and depart a little later than advertised times. Lots of extras included in the condo (boogie boards, beach chairs, scuba gear, and golf clubs, etc.). All the furniture and appliances were in very good to excellent condition. Clear instruction were labelled everywhere made it easy to get settled in.
Would definitely stay here again if we return to the Big Island!

We absolutely loved our stay. Buff was an excellent and gracious host. Property just as advertised. The view is spectacular. Property clean and well furnished upon arrival. Would highly recommend this rental. We had 4 adults and were completely comfortable.

This condo exceeded our expectations in every way. The view is spectacular - we saw gorgeous sunsets and gazed at stars from the lanai. The owner supplied everything we needed for a wonderful vacation, including beach gear. The furnishings were comfortable and beautiful, no detail was overlooked. We can't wait to return!

Buff’s condo has become our home away from home in Hawaii! Great location, great view, great owner!
Comfortable, clean, well equipped, good location, soft and ample towels and linens, friendly host, affordable, with amazing sunsets. Only negative is the pickle ball court noise from across street. (But just close front door and you can't hear it.) Would choose again if available.

Beautiful views for ocean and sunsets. Very clean , organized , well stocked property. All beach necessities and kitchen equipment you need. Host ,Buff is so responsive to every need and question ! Would love to see some updated seating, but would definitely stay again!

Buff was a super host! His place was cozy and near a supermarket and gas station which was very convenient. The view was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet.
His place has everything we needed. He provided soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It was a home away from home!
The condo was is clean and well organized!

The condo was fully stocked with anything you might need. We used everything from beach chairs to golf clubs. He has every question you might have already answered for you. The nightly sunsets were amazing. The location was convenient to beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. I would stay here again.

This was our third visit. Buff is indeed a premier host. Very communicative and friendly. We have stayed in other places in other cities. Buff's condo excels in the fully equipped kitchen with lots of dishes, cutlery and utensils. Cupboards are labelled so you don't have to open every door to find something. He has a 'welcome' binder with all the information you need about the condo and the area.
The view is fantastic. The sunsets are spectacular. What more could you ask for? The only downside to all of this is that it is hard to book this place because it is so popular.
No one could ever say anything bad about this property. Buff was a perfect host. The condo was clean the view beautiful everything you could want to do was in the condo. We have stayed in a lot of places. This was the best. Definitely are going to return when time is right, thank you Buff for the perfect place in paradise
Wow, don't quite know how to start so I'll just jump in. First of all, Buff is one of the best hosts of a VRBO that we have come across. The condo was immaculate, views for days and a Welcome binder that was invaluable. It had information about the condo, where to find things, things to do. The location in Waiakoloa Village is optimal for adventuring! Within a 20-30 minute drive to some of the very best beaches in Hawaii, not just Big Island, the state. Close to the Saddle Road for trips to the Hilo side. (Found a couple of GREAT beaches over there for snorkeling!). The Hilo farmers market is a must do. Close enough to Kona for shopping (Costco!) The night Manta Ray snorkel is a magical time, swimming with such large, gentle creatures. The hubby went to the top of Mauna Kea for the sunset and night viewing. Spectacular photos of the Milky Way, Whirlpool galaxy, Omega Century and Nebulas. We also took a shuttle down to the Waipio Valley. We had seen it from the top many times but never ventured down. The waterfall is amazing.
Like I said earlier, Buff is an outstanding host. Would respond immediately to any questions we had. Great neighbor to have. We enjoyed our conversations with him and consider Buff a new friend on the island. Thank You Buff! We will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this property! The tagline "best view for the money" was absolutely true. The ocean view and sunsets can't be beat! The unit was very clean and well-appointed with every last item you could use including washing bags for delicates and nice sharp knives for cooking. Truly well thought out and decorated in such a cute way. For those that may have a concern with no a/c, I can reassure you that breezes do really keep things pleasant and even cool to the point of using a blanket at night and our stay was during arguably the hottest time of year (July). Buff does a great job of communicating about this though and provides a number of fans in case they are needed. The community pool is large and has nice shaded lounges and is just across the street. Also great proximity to groceries, gas, and restaurants while being just 15 minute drive from the beach. We hope to return soon!
The condo was beautiful , quiet and very comfortable.. had two sleeping areas .. also excellent location with a great view of the golf course and ocean ! Was at elevation so the temperature was perfect for June/July stay. Everything we needed was there with golf right across the street .. was our base for exploring the entire island. Close to restaurants and beaches .. Buff ..the host was super nice and even provided beach/snorkel equipment so we did not have to bring our own. It was an excellent stay !! Monica and Ryan
