Awesome place, if you have the right room . So many of the rooms have no view & we have been stuck looking at the parking lot or a huge wall in the past . Not this time! The hotel has started a new thing by putting out large round chairs at the pool for RENT.. which takes the place of two lounge chairs . Chairs are often very difficult to get as the pool is usually full. You already pay a hotel fee, plus the cost of a room and now they want more $$ for a stupid round chair… They ask guests not to reserve a chair with towels, (& leave) but they do. So not enough chairs at the pools is my biggest complaint.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice older facility that appears to be very well maintained and organized from reservation through checkout. The pools and grounds are beautiful and it is right on the ocean where the shore is rocky but with caution can be accessed for swimming and snorkeling. Our room was clean, well stocked and in good working order and we had a great view of the grounds and ocean. We stayed in early February and had views of humpback whales from our room. The facility is across the street from great coffee, food and music (Java Jazz/SoupNutz) and a very big food truck court. Just down the street is an ABC store and the best cinnamon roll place in Maui. The boardwalk runs from the resort all the way past Whaler’s Village and the Black Rock resorts with all that dining and shopping. I would consider forgoing a rental car and just getting a shuttle here to/from the airport because everything you need is within easy walking distance. By Maui standards, it is affordable and in my opinion, the best value I could find. So, it’s a very nice place to stay where you can prepare 2 of your own meals and go out for a nicer one each day without breaking the bank. The staff were pleasant and not intrusive and the fees were very transparent so there were no surprises at the end. I will return!

Everything was super. The comfort of the unit, it’s size, the full kitchen and the view. All that was missing was the Golf Channel.
