Great unit with three king beds for three couples!We have stayed in numerous units in this condo community and noted that This was the most stripped down kitchen. There was a Costco spice rack. No salt and pepper, no coffee filters, and only five Tommy Bahama Beach chairs for six people. Just thought it should be noted for future guest so they can prepare.
Great location, fantastic views of the ocean, golf course sunsets right from the balconies. Property is well maintained and gated. The unit was comfortable, very clean and well decorated. Fully stocked with all the accessories to make your stay complete. The clubhouse has a gym, pool, restaurant and bar. And BBq's to cook your own meals. I highly recommend this location.
We have stayed in 8G Hali'i Kai 2 years in a row and will grab this unit anytime it is available. It has amazing views of the ocean and golf and has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy the beach and activities on the Big Island. Highly recommend a stay at Hali'i Kai!
Well supplied unit, not enough shower towels. Location great. Restaurant ,bar good. Staff friendly. Pool very nice. Ocean view great, on golf course. Consistently weak wifi.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our rental at 8G. The townhome is extremely manicured, beautifully decorated, and has absolutely everything stocked: deluxe toiletries, linens, all the beach gear you need (don’t even pack it!), extra bedding and spices, books and board games, laundry soaps and baskets, even aloe vera! All of the furniture inside out was very comfortable and well made. We felt very regal staying in this unit. Next time we come this is the unit we will rent!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our rental at 8G. The townhome is extremely manicured, beautifully decorated, and has absolutely everything stocked: deluxe toiletries, linens, all the beach gear you need (don’t even pack it!), extra bedding and spices, books and board games, laundry soaps and baskets, even aloe vera! AWe had such a great visit. The place was super comfortable, well stocked, awesome location, and had great views. The master bedroom mattress was a bit firm for me, but that might be a personal preference.

It was just 2 of us that stayed however there is plenty of room for a total of 3 couples. The unit is in great shape. The views of the golf course and ocean are beautiful! I would definitely stay there again.

This property is FANTASTIC! The rental is beautiful, comfortable and clean, with plenty of space and absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean and nearby golf course. It’s stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation, including towels, chairs, umbrellboogie boards, football, and on and on. It’s also stocked with plenty of supplies … dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, plenty of hangars in the closets … and thoughtful “extras” including luggage racks in each room and large floor fans. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year. The pictures shown on the rental sites are great … but the actual property itself is even better!!
The property manager, Kona Coast Vacations, was wonderful! Check-in was simple and easy, and Kona Coast went above and beyond to help us secure a late checkout since we had a red eye flight the night we checked out. When we arrived, there was a beautiful and generous welcome basket with all kinds of delicious Hawaiian goodies, and we had no issues during our entire stay. We frequently stay in vacation rentals and have had all kinds of issues, from non-working refrigerators or other appliances, bug problems (namely cockroaches in Hawai’i), non-working a/c, etc., so we’ve learned to expect to have to deal with some type of issue as part of a vacation rental. Therefore, having no issues at all was fabulous!! Kona Coast was easy to work with and very quick to respond to our emails requesting late checkout and inquiries regarding rebooking for next year. This property manager is great, and I wish all vacation rentals had property managers like Kona Coast.
The rental is located in the incredible community of Hali’i Kai. This is our favorite place on the Big Island, and the Hali’i Kai property and grounds and views are incredible! The Ocean Club is also a huge bonus … fantastic food, lovely setting and ocean views, and best of all AWESOME people, many of whom have worked there for years. We love Mary Gail, Kathy and Daniel, who have all been there quite a while. The newer employees were also very nice and did a great job. The chefs know their stuff, and the food is wonderful. Thank you all at the Ocean Club from the Vance Family!!! :-)
Finally, it is helpful to note that the Hali’i Kai property is very centrally located. Hali’i Kai is located in the Waikoloa Village area, which has everything from restaurants to shops to hotels. We love it and can’t wait to visit again!

We loved every minute of this beautiful condo. We felt very at home and comfortable. It had great views of the ocean and we were able to see whales from the lanai and from the pool. The property had all the amenities that we were looking for. We would 100% stay here again. Mahalo

We had a wonderful family vacation at Halii Kai. It was like staying at a first classy resort with the on site restaurant and bar at the pool. We were able to see lots of whales from the lanais at the condo. Could not have been a better place to stay for our family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We ran into a little snag with hot water due to wrong installation, but once we solved that it was smooth sailing. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching whales and golfers and loved the pool/clubhouse area, especially during happy hour.
This property is well appointed with amazing views of the golf course and ocean. I would highly recommend this property and we will be coming back again. Beautiful sunsets and quiet private getaway.
This place was awesome. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Enjoyed the pool and the food at the pool was great. If we stay in Kona again we will definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at Hali’i Kai many, many times so totally knew what to expect for property. This home had great furnishings, gorgeous wood floors, a kick ass AC unit, and was well maintained. Loved the two lanais and appreciated all of the room and original artwork. Will definitely book this property again. Only thing that could have been better was faster wifi. We used a lot of data. But really beautiful home. Mahalo!!
Absolutely loved everything about this place. Spacious enough for 6 of us, with a wonderful full kitchen and lovely balcony view of the golf course and ocean. Great proximity to shops. Loved the pool and fitness area too. Would love to go back.
Really nice place to stay for a group of six. Well stocked condo. Ocean club restaurant on property was excellent. Good drinks and food and great place to watch sunsets.
