What a great place to stay on Maui, perfect location with great shops and stores within walking distance as well as a great beach to snorkel and swim with 3 others in walking distance too! The condo was well stocked and even had Hawaiian treats and coffee left for us! Beach towels and chairs were available too! Nicely decorated with comfortable beds.

Unit 204 at the Royal Mauian is in a great location with a wonderful view of the park below, Kamaole I Beach and the ocean. Unfortunately, we had cleanliness issues upon arrival. The door was unlocked and ajar when we arrived which was unsettling; not sure if that was intentional. Within a few minutes of walking in, the bottoms of our white socks were black with dirt. We spent several hours wiping everything down with sanitizing wipes and searched for something to clean the floor with; all we could find was a floor Swiffer (with no dry cloths supplied) and a few brooms, all of which were filthy. There was no wet mop or bucket to be found. We called and requested for a bucket and mop to be dropped off at the unit so that we could clean the floors ourselves during our stay; they later followed up via email and said this was not possible. Two cleaners came by shortly after and they didn’t have a mop either; they brought several rags, soaked them, wrung them out by hand in each room to soak the floors, then used the rags on the end of a Swiffer to dry the floors. It was an interesting method that got the job done, but somewhat odd and concerning to see they didn’t have a mop either. We hoped to cook more in the unit, but the pots and lids were covered in greasy film. The freezer desperately needed to be defrosted; it was unusable as it was completely frozen over and the ice in the icemaker was frozen into one giant, solid block. The cutlery rack in the dishwasher was very dirty.

Room was clean, location was amazing, great amenities. A bug issue in the kitchen upon arrival that we needed to buy bug spray for and address the entire week but the spray kept them away, so maybe bug spray more often in the unit. Otherwise our stay was great!

Just returned from a great stay at the Royal Mauian 204 in Kiehi. Location was great - right between two beaches and across the street from some places to eat, grocery store, beach rental stores. short drive to some other great restaurants and beaches plus a little market for souveniers. Condo was clean and well maintained. Updated kitchen - quite a few bugs in the kitchen when we first arrived but didn't notice them for most of the balance of the stay - just needed to keep kitchen free of crumbs and food - suppose fairly normal for a tropical environment. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Patio was lovely - view was amazing - ocean, beach, mountains - couldn't have been a better view - lots of time spent on the lanai.Management company was very helpful with booking and questions in advance - didn't really need them during as everything was as promised. Beach chairs were very handy - used daily - and rented an umbrella. Overall loved every minute of our stay and would definitely return and recommend to family/friends. The rental condo was very comfortable and nice! We had everything needed in the kitchen to make some meals. The WiFi was great as my adult kids had to work and we all enjoyed the view! Loved the beach chairs and towels and fins. The location is awesome in regards to the beach and shopping and activities and some restaurants. Overall a wonderful Christmas vacation!
