For us, September is the now preferred month to go to Maui. After visiting in August for many many years, September is for sure the way to go. No crowds, no waits for restaurant tables.

This was our 4th time staying at the Kulakane and the 2nd time staying in unit #103. As always our visit was fantastic. Great location, steps to the water where you can see turtles, and during low tide, eels and many different kinds of fish. Minutes to Kaanapali and Lahaina. Great Farmers Market, a block away.

This rental is in a great location. Perfect for whale watching! The turtles were abundant everyday! Although the beach directly in front is not swimable, right next door is a great little spot for swimming and snorkeling. Close to all amenities. Great staff, helpful and friendly.
