This was our 2nd time staying and it was as wonderful. I really enjoyed taking a shower at sunset, outdoors. What a gift. Thank you Amanda and Michael for all the thoughtful attention to details.

✨Mahalo Amanda & Michael, you both have created a retreat to accommodate every need. Appreciated the snacks dearly, comfortable bed, lanai space to relax and eat dinner. We were also treated to a beautiful full moon. Snorkeled at Kahala’u beach park and saw a day octopus 🐙, super exciting, hence our title. Looking forward to our return in December before we fly out! This place is a real gem. The outdoor area is amazing. We loved having our morning coffee here and hanging out enjoying the view. Although the place is quite small, everything is very well thought out and organized. We had a very comfortable stay. It is extremely clean, even the outdoor shower is spotless. My husband and I are pretty picky about this and we were impressed! What makes this stay extra special is the host. She included so many extra conveniences including coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks, etc as well as a cooler, beach towels and chairs, etc. All communication with her was really helpful, prompt, and friendly.

The perfect set up for a comfortable stay after long days of exploring. Quiet neighborhood, stunning views, comfortable bed, great lanai and an outdoor shower with a view of the city and ocean below. Highly recommend if you prefer a quiet escape!

Close enough so you have only a short drive to the town, but far enough away to have some quiet. Except for all the frogs at night but we enjoyed their concerts. The lanai is huge, you get your own littte backyard and the little window in the outside shower is brilliant! The room itself has a large bed and a kitchenette, great for a coffee in the morning. The little snacks provided are a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again!

Easy to get to, and the set up was exactly what I needed. Extremely clean and private. Strangely enough, I absolutely loved the shower set up overlooking the ocean. Definitely recommend this spot for someone who is looking for accommodations near Kailua-Kona. This space made my first trip to Hawaii even more enjoyable than I anticipated.
