If you are planning to stay at the condo most of the time, this is a good condo, because you can leave the AC on in the afternoon. If you leave during the day, he asks you to turn off the living room window AC unit. When we returned back to the condo at 7:30pm and turned on the AC, the condo was so hot, it couldn't cool the condo down. We ran it all night long and never pulled back the blankets or sheets the whole week we were there, because it was so hot. We would have enjoyed our stay so much more, if the temperature at bedtime would have been 15 degrees cooler.The condo grounds are lovely. We used the BBQs by the ocean and had dinner on the picnic tables watching the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. It was really nice having an assigned parking place.
Kona isle is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Love the pool. Was able to have friends and family over for an Oceanside BBQ. Wonderful location.
Well located complex on the water. Well equipped condo with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and loads of snorkeling gear. But, the place is fairly old with noisy A/C and fridge and it's the unit furthest from the Ocean and closest to the road in the back corner of the complex with people walking by the louvered bedroom window.
Super nice condo and easy check in and out. Michael is good to work with. Great beach area to relax at, catch the sunrise or sunset! If you like coffee, the coffee maker isnāt the best. I have a portable 20oz French press Iāll bring next time.

Michael was a fantastic host - very communicative, cordial and was able to accommodate me and my friends with an additional stay. He gave out clear instructions/boundaries on housing doās/dontās, which is always appreciated as a guest. The location was 20-30 min from the airport and a 10-15 min drive from many beaches via drive. I wouldnāt hesitate to stay here again!
This was our 2nd stay at this condo. We had a lovely time. Great views of the ocean! Condo was tidy and had extras for us to use during our stay.
My husband, me and our 15 month old infant had a great time staying here. It's only few minutes away from lots of attractions that Kona can offer. We loved our morning time hanging out on the rocky beach of the property and taking our toddler to the tide pools only steps away from where we stayed. I hope we get to visit Kona again, we now know where to stay!
No stairs to climb, close to water, issues handled promptly
This was a great condo to come back to after a day of exploring to watch the sunsets over the water. There is an area right on the property at the shore with sand and chairs behind a seawall of black lava rocks from which to watch the sunsets or night sky. My wife saw whales from there. There are barbeques there as well. People there are very friendly to newcomers. It was very quiet there in the evenings and night.
This place has a dedicated parking spot like everyone else appears to have so there was enough parking to go around for all. Nobody else was ever parked in our spot.
Inside the condo it was clean and has some tasteful Hawaii dƩcor to help get you in the local spirit.
It's well stocked with everything you'd imagine a condo would have such as towels, dishes, frying pans, etc. It was great to have food in the fridge, and do some cooking there to save on the restaurant time and bills.
We found the body surfing boards and took one out to Kua Bay and our son says the body surfing was the best part of the whole trip!
The host Michael proactively contacted me a few days before we arrived to let me know the check-in process and how to access the keys to the condo.
If we return to Hawaii in a few years we'll stay there again if this condo is still available.

The apartment, grounds, piool, and location were great. Had all the necessities and beach toys. Coffee by the ocean every morning.
Great overall. A few things I wish were there but thatās just me. Really enjoyed our stay!
This was a great spot to stay in the Kona area. Minutes from shopping and restaurants and a great home base to explore the island. The condo had everything you would need provided from towels, kitchen suppliers, and tons of beach gear (coolers, snorkels, umbrellas, and chairs). The grounds were great right on the ocean with a swimming pool. Access to beach front to explore the lava rock tide pools and access to the saltwater pool. We will be back when we return to Kona.

Unit equipped with all things we needed. Including beach umbrella and chairs. Both beds very comfy. Outdoor bbq area is ocean front. great sunset view. We even saw dolphins jumping out of water. Definitely recommend this unit to big island visitors!
Beautiful ocean views, awesome grill area to enjoy sunsets, extra bonus of a salt water pool next door.
We enjoyed our stay in this cute condo and would recommend to any couple or small family of four. All amenities listed were provided. We did have a little trouble with checking in but Michael was readily available to assist by text and phone. Plus side is this was the perfect spot to catch a beautiful sunset.
A very nice stay, the condo was very clean, enjoyed myself very much. My only comment is itās a bottom floor unit on a corner so there was a lot of foot traffic and talking people going by the condo bedroom at all hours. I could hear the people walk around in the condo above. I would stay here again.
The location was great and the hosts were very responsive.
A beautiful property very close to a rocky beach. There is also a saltwater pool next to that for swimming as well as a swimming pool. The condo was well stocked, comfortable and clean. The only negative was that there was no air conditioner in the bedroom, only the main room. But other than that, super!!
Exactly as advertised. Easy and free parking. Very clean unit. Queen Bed was ok, but not great. 2 ceiling fans and a floor fan worked well. Small wall mount AC works great for living room, not great for the bedroom even with the fan suggestions. You may find it sleeps a bit too warm. High speed internet, worked great. TV had a lot of channels, I mean a lot! The complex is very very quiet, which was nice. This Unit is a ground floor end unit next to the parking lot, which was great to move in/out and for packing our golf clubs daily. It worked really well for us. The small lanai was great for morning coffees. Condo was stocked well with everything you would expect and more. There is a stair case next to the bedroom windows, you will hear people using it when you are in bed. The location is great; far enough from town to be away from the noise and most homeless. Close enough to walk 30 mins, or take a 5 minute $7 Uber. We took Ubers which were easy to get and always friendly. The condo waterfront is great to watch the waves and the sunsets. Beautiful sunsets! Site check-in was easy, communication with Michael was tooā¦although we never really needed him.
Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Would recommend for sure. Thanks Michael!
