    Located in Ka Milo at the Mauna Lani Resort area, our luxury home boasts 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen stocked with essential equipment, a laundry room with a washer and dryer set, and a lanai deck with an ocean view. It comfortably sleeps up to ten adults and can accommodate large families for an extended stay in the Mauna Lani resort area.

    The building is a two-story paired home, with the upper level consisting of the kitchen, living room, dining room, half bathroom, one master bedroom with a queen-size mattress and a full bathroom, and the lanai deck area. The kitchen and living area has a high vaunted ceiling and the doorway to the lanai deck opens the whole wall to the outdoors, letting you take in the wonderful weather while cooking or lounging.

    The lower level has one master bedroom with a king-size bed and full bathroom, one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bedroom with two queen-size beds, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. The property is roughly 3700 square feet and has a two-car garage attached to the house. In the garage there are bikes for traveling around the area and equipment for a beach expedition.

    The house is fully stocked with basic toiletries, bath and beach towels, snorkel gear, coffee machine, toaster, wine cooler, paper towels and toilet paper, BBQ and grill utensils, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, life jackets, beach coolers, and bikes.

    The Ka Milo development is adjacent to the Francis H. I'l Brown Golf Course (North) ( the scenic Fairmont Orchid hotel with all of its amenities and dining opportunities, and, for the archeology nerds, the Puako Petroglyph Park. Distance to the beach at the Orchid is only 0.4 miles.

    Nearby is the Ka Milo Recreation Center, complete with a grilling area, lap pool, kiddie pool, two hot tubs, a gym with free weights and exercise machines, and large lawns. A short drive away is the Mauna Lani Owners' Beach, a protected bay wherein you may swim, snorkel, and otherwise enjoy the beach. The beach also has a full restaurant and bar.

    When booking our stay, I wanted to find a house with access to the mauni lani beach club. The beach is amazing. It is a great protected cove with cabanas and beach chairs and is a great place for both hanging with the kids (as there are very minimal wave breaks) and snorkeling. This house also has access to the community center (2 pools & 2 hot tubs) within walking distance. I found this listing for my family of 10 adults and 2 children (3 years and 9 months). This house slept us all comfortably. The house came with some amenities that made it easier to stay here with children such as a high chair, pack and play, crib sheets and bed mats to help contain nighttime accidents, as well as a child toilet seat. It did not come with any baby gates to block access to the stairs, but I reached out to Adrian and he gave me info on where I could rent one if we chose to. Adrian was extremely responsive and very helpful. We were in contact multiple times over small things and he responded quickly. He came out on at least 2 different occasions to address problems I had informed him of such as a cracked toilet seat and a problem with the ac. He resolved both of these problems quickly. The house itself is relaxing and beautiful. We loved having a BBQ on the back patio watching the sunset or getting up early and having a coffee. The view and atmosphere was very relaxing. The garage is stocked with beach accessories such as chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards and bikes.

    This home did not disappoint and would recommend to anyone looking for a great house close to the beaches. There are plenty of beach toys for all ages as well as bicycles for running to the market down the street or to one of the many nearby beaches. You have access to the Mauna Lani beach club but we also like several of the other nearby beaches, especially on Puako where you will find turtles sleeping at your feet. We have stayed at several properties over the years in the Kamilo subdivision and this was a great home and the owners were very easy to work with. We cooked or grilled most nights and the home was well supplied to meet our needs. I look forward to our next stay.

    Our family of 9, including my 2 yo granddaughter had a fabulous time staying in this beautifully appointed home. So many amenities available to us! We loved having access to the private beach club! The owners communicated well with me and the description of the home as very accurate. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Hawaii.

    This was a wonderful stay! The communications was amazing from long before our stay to the very last day. The private beach was perfect, the home and community couldn’t have been better for our family. Tons of space, beach toys and bikes kept our kids busy. Being so close to other resorts was a treat too and the benefit of a local grocery store was an unexpected benefit. Mahalo!
