My family and I really enjoyed our time here! The condo is so nice! Check in process was so easy! Also, the beds were so comfortable. Highly recommend. I would love to go back!
Super nice little unit. Furniture and flooring aretop notch. Kitchen well appointed. Clean with nothing really for condiments/ oils/ coffee or tea - so bring everything but salt and pepper. Fold out couch is perfect for Keiki. 3 TVs meet the kids wants.
This place is beautiful. We had two adults and two kids and it was perfect. It has two king beds with separate bathrooms and another queen pull-out couch. There is no AC, but with the wind and the fans it is very comfortable sleeping. The only issue with sleeping is you better bring some earplugs because the roosters will get going at 4 am. One really great perk is you can walk from the condo to a trail down to Turtle Cave. The trail is steep and sketchy, but the reward is incredible snorkeling and the chance to see turtles chilling in this huge cave. Go early before the wind and on a low tide. Also, the condo had great beach chairs, masks, fins, corn hole,..pretty much anything you need for a fun day in Hanalei. Another nice perk was the pool with multiple bar-b-que grills for anyone to use. Princeville isn't some quant little town in the country, but with the Turtle Cave, the view, the proximity to Hanalei, hiking in Napali Coast, and access to groceries and restaurants, you can't go wrong renting here with a family or even a couple.
This is the second condo we've rented in Princeville. I really loved the location of this condo! It's situated ideally for the breeze coming from either the mountains or the ocean that runs right through the home, and since there isn't any A/C this makes the home very comfortable. The peekaboo view of the ocean is nice, but the view of the mountains are absolutely beautiful! Amazing. The condo complex was very quiet, which was great since we had a couple early morning excursions. The beds were comfortable and the dining table big for playing games at night. We took the bikes out, and used the smash ball game a couple times at the beach. We had a great stay at your condo! We would rent again from you for sure! Thank you
We didn’t want to drive an hour in the early morning from the Westside of Kauai to participate in the annual Haena to Hanalei Race, so we turned it into a staycation — and we’re so glad we did!The condo was in a fantastic location. The dining room offered beautiful mountain views of the Mamalahoa/Halelea Forest Reserve, and it was just a short walk to the bluff for hikes and morning strolls with breathtaking ocean vistas. It looked recently remodeled, with clean, modern aesthetics that gave the place a fresh feel.The living room was cozy and inviting, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The two bedrooms each had a comfortable king-size bed and their own en suite bathroom, which was a big plus for us.All in all, this place made our North Shore getaway extra special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The property is as advertised and was very clean. My family enjoyed the location with amazing views of the mountains, the ocean, and the cliffs. The property was spacious and I can’t wait to return again soon!

This Princeville unit was roomy and comfortable. It was clean and tidy and had well stocked kitchen ware and equipment cupboards. Our only problem was that we could hear every footstep and chair scrape from the unit above us, along with their voices if they spoke loudly. Luckily they left after a couple of days. Also, we didn’t realise there were two pools, and ended up getting locked in the wrong one!
This condo is spacious and very suitable to 2 couples. No ocean views or ability to walk to beach easily, but a great stay. Some additional info from owner regarding stocking of condo would have been helpful. We needed to provide our own ice (no trays even), shampoo and body wash. This was my first VRBO lacking these. Would have appreciated info so as to avoid a second trip to market on day of our arrival.

Our stay at this Princeville retreat was absolutely fantastic. The property is very nicely appointed and the location is out of this world beautiful, nestled near the cliffs of the Pacific on the north side of the Princeville resort community.
I would like to add one simple recommendation: Make sure to screenshot or print your documents before arrival. I had no cell phone reception in the area and was finally able to retrieve the actual unit number only after connecting to a hotspot that took 15-20 mins on a different device. The Building #s are also hard to see (needed to flag down another visitor who had the same problem, since the office was closed at check-in time - 4pm) and labeled in a very small font on black lava rocks near the parking lots.
Outside of this very small issue, I would love to come back and stay at Alii Kai #2 in the future (I believe is much nicer than Alii Kai #1). The two masters are wonderful and our group of 6 never felt crowded in the space at all!

However, the walls in this building are very thin, so we could hear the neighbors upstairs all night long and every morning. This may be the norm for rental properties in Kauai but it’s definitely a bummer when you get woken up by the other residents who are staying above you. For my next visit I will want to stay in a top floor condo to prevent this from happening.
The people staying above us had kids and sounded like a fairly large family. Perhaps if there was another adult couple staying in the unit above, we would not have been woken up every night and each morning. If there are only two people staying above you versus a whole family it may be more quiet. But you cannot control who else is staying in the building at the same time as you, so for me, I will just reserve a top floor apartment next time.

This condo looks exactly like the photos, it was clean when we arrived and everything was expected. This property was just as described in the advertisement. We stayed here with our 3 children and settled in for 2 weeks. It felt like home to us! Comfortable, clean, and had everything youd need in the kitchen! The property was well kept, felt safe and was beautiful. Very impressed with this rental and would stay again for sure. Matt was excellent to communicate with as well.

Our stay was lovely. We love the Princeville and Hanalei area for the beaches, shopping and good food. The weather could have been a little nicer (quite a bit of rain this week), but not anything to stop you from having a good time. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us.
