    Steps from the beach, Lae Nani 211 is a lovely, newly renovated and furnished condo on the beach in Wailua on Kauai's east side. We are only a short walk to a variety of shops, restaurants and resorts.

    The condo has brand new wall mounted Split AC units installed in the living room and bedroom to keep things cool in the warm months. The fully equipped kitchen is has all new appliances and is very convenient for preparing meals and snacks. And for grilling your favorite foods, the outdoor barbecue area is nearby. You will want to visit the local farmers market for fresh produce to include in your culinary creations.

    The large heated salt water pool is surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. Enjoy a refreshing dip at your leisure.
    When you dine out, there are many restaurants and cafes in this area offering a nice variety of cuisine, including of course, fresh seafood.

    The bedroom sleeps 2 and has a California King bed, spacious closet with hangers, Smart TV and its own private bathroom. There is an additional half-bath off the living room. The sofa in the living room is a pull out queen size sleeper, that sleeps 2 on a memory foam mattress.

    There are many activities nearby to enjoy, including seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boat tours and flightseeing aboard helicopters. Tennis and Pickleball enthusiasts will be delighted that Lae Nani has its own tennis court.

    Lae Nani is centrally located on the east side of Kauai on the Coconut Coast, equidistant from the sights and activities on the north and south shores. The condo is less than 15 minutes from the airport and is close to shopping, golf courses, and the island's new walking and biking path that follows the eastern shore for miles. Our unit is perfectly situated within walking distance to restaurants (Lava Lava, Chicken In A Barrel, Napali Brewing Company, Hukilau, Bobby V's, Sushi Bushido, Sleeping Giant Cafe, Johnny's Wingz 'n Tingz, and more), shopping, golf, incredible beaches, and the Wailua River.

    The complex is perfect from which to explore the entire island. The grounds, the landscaping, the heated pool, and the beach are fantastic. Lae Nani is also nicely secluded with the walking and biking path diverting behind it and not in front of it. Nearby Coconut Marketplace and restaurants, including Lava Lava Beach Club, are all with easy walking distance. We met many wonderful residents and visitors, some of whom have been visiting Lae Nani every year for 25 years, which shows how great this complex is. On that note, the Lae Nani staff, from managers to gardeners to security, were wonderfully welcoming, helpful, and extremely pleasant. The unit is nicely situated and is bigger than it appears in the pictures, which was a welcome surprise. It is also very nicely decorated (we loved the Hawai’ian-themed memorabilia and framed prints). We appreciated how well-equipped 211 was from the kitchen (the fridge’s built-in icemaker was very handy when mixing cocktails) to the bathroom (great shower pressure), with plenty of towels, beach and snorkeling gear, including Tommy chairs and cooler etc. The king bed was super comfortable, so much so that we invested in a similar mattress-topper when we returned home! The hosts were very pleasant to deal with and provided many helpful suggestions about what to see and do and where to dine, and have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will rent this unit again on our next visit.

    I have nothing but great things to say about this rental! The size is perfect for a long term or short term stay. The location was in the perfect spot to travel around the island, feeling as though it was right in the middle of both directions and the airport. The unit itself was so quiet, on the corner, and the walkout was great to head to the beach. Stores were close, parking was super easy, and there’s a beach walk not far! I could go on and on about it, but I will say this- when my husband and I come back to Kauai, this is where we will stay!

    Upon arrival, the condo needed a bit of cleaning but was taken care of in a timely manner. Owner was very responsive. Central location on the island made it very easy to see the sights. Grounds were nice and a short walk to the beach made it easy for watching the sunsets. Lava Lava Beach Club which is next door was a great hangout. Will definitely come back our next trip.
