Welcome to our beautiful coconut coast condo! This is a one bedroom condo in Kapaa on the island of Kauai. It has a King size bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper sofa in the living room. That means it comfortably sleeps up to 4. The condo features a full kitchen, all appliances (including a blender for those great tropical drinks), dishes, linens, etc.
The unit has WiFi internet access as well as a smart TV and cable. We also leave beach towels, flashlights, boogie boards, coolers and beach chairs for your use. So far, our guests have been wonderful about leaving them for the next person and even add to the collection! There are gas BBQs by the pool. All you need are your shorts, slippahs, and a smile!
This is a second floor unit with a beautiful view of the coconut coast and is located about 300 feet from the beach across a grass field with a sidewalk leading from the unit to the beach. The beach pictures are taken from the end of the sidewalk looking North and South. As you can see, the beach is very quiet and uncrowded.
Plantation Hale is located in Kapaa, about eight miles North of the Lihue Airport. It is next to the Coconut Plantation Marketplace for those of you familiar with the island. The main road around Kauai is shaped like a horseshoe with no roads on the north shore. We are located in the center of the horseshoe and equal distances to the end of the road in both directions.
You can fish, swim and snorkel at the beach out front or go body surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, water-skiing or golfing a short drive away. There is also plenty of shopping close at hand. Gift shops and art galleries abound with lots of fun little restaurants in Kapaa town. Don't miss the farmer's market with fresh fruit and produce at bargain prices. I travel to Kauai for work several time a year. These properties are at the perfect location and their amenities just what I need. I alway look to stay here. Very nice property.

Good central location to visit the entire island. Not fancy but very nice and clean. Beach was beautiful but the surf was rough and deep. Swimming and snorkeling is not advisable. But the condo location made it easy to visit the other beaches and enjoy all the island has to offer. Pools were very clean but the bar-b-que pit did not work. The neighborhood has great shopping, markets, and restaurants. Much within walking distance. We had all the conveniences we wanted.

We spent a week here. Very comfortable bed and nice towels. Quiet place and lots of space. Had some fun treats and a bottle of wine to welcome us. We weren’t cooking but everything was there. Would stay here again. Only down side was when we walked to the beach it seemed like homeless, or campers. Not sure. It’s not really a beach to hang out on so no worries!!! Sooo many awesome beaches to enjoy!! Do it!!

Stayed here with one friend. The apartment was super clean and in a location that has a number of great restausrants, cafes and stores. About a 15 min drive from the airport. We wanted to explore a lot do the north side of the island which was about a 35-40 min drive but it’s a real scenic and beautiful trip in a car. Would definitely recommend

This place was fantastic! Stocked with tons of beach goodies and comfy!! Perfect little set up and nice kitchen! You can walk to many great places close by! The coconut marketplace has tons of shopping and food options!! We will most definitely be back!!

Apartment needs a bit of tune up, bathroom, kitchen..
No washing machine or dishwasher in the apartment , the floor mop was dirty , asked for another and was told that this would be taken care of after we check out.
The bed cover needed to be washed, especially throw pillows .
This side of the island is windy , big waves, our teenager could not swim nearby, we had to drive to north shore beaches where it was calmer. It has nothing to do with apartment but something to keep in mind when booking.

we had one issue, the bedroom had no AC, the property management sent a portable unit immediately you could not use both at the same time. we had guest for two days on the pull out couch in the living room we had to alternate AC at night.
