The Hale Kamaole complex is shaped like a U and this unit is located exactly in the middle of the U providing full unobstructed views of the ocean and a view of the beautifully manicured grounds. A great spot to sit on the lanai and watch the whales jump. The upper pool and BBQ area are only steps from your ground floor Lanai door. Ample Free parking is available directly in front of the unit.
This unit has been extensively renovated (down to the studs!) and features central air conditioning throughout, custom furniture including a king size bed in the master and a queen size pull out in the living room that is extremely comfortable. A 65"smart TV has been added in the living room as well as the 43" smart tv in Master bedroom. Free unlimited High Speed internet is available to handle whatever you need!
The granite kitchen is completely renovated with ample cupboards and storage. All the things you expect in your kitchen at home can be found here! We have on island property management that ensures items are replaced as required and regardless of condition are replaced annually to ensure only the highest quality of kitchen items are available when you arrive. The complex recently added beautiful gas bbq's and the traditional briquette bbq's are also there for your cooking pleasure. Truly a GREAT place to visit after a day of fun with your fellow HK vacationer!
The unit has central AC throughout and ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room. There is a toll free telephone to allow you to call anywhere in North America. Other features also include a new washer and dryer and a room safe is located in the master. In addition, there are beach chairs, umbrella, beach coolers and snorkel gear.

We loved this property. First time our family has visited Maui and we will be back for sure. The unit was very clean when we arrived and well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect! It was far enough away from the road that it was super quiet. I would highly recommend!!

The property is exactly as described, and in some sense, a little under-described, so I will try to mention some of the things I really appreciated traveling with a couple of young kids.
* The location is central to Wilea (fancy restaurants and shops) and the intersection of most highways in Maui, making travel easy. Far better than the northeast shores.
* It's literally 20 steps to a quiet pool. The pool was calm the entire time and was excellent for kids.
* The beaches you can drive 5 minutes to are practically the nicest in Hawaii, with soft sands, no overbearing resort crowds, and great amenities, including food nearby. They may not be the top-rated ones, but they are excellent regardless of whether you want to be in the sand, enjoy the water nearby, or want to surf/swim.
* The combination of AC and fans is great for keeping the space cool (no noisy window ACs here!)
* The kitchen and bath are thoughtfully provisioned so you find just about anything, down to extension cords, games, and more.
* Check out the lanai closet immediately because it has anything you might need for the beach short of a full-sized surfboard and swimsuits. Also, if you forgot any toiletries, check under the sink!
* Please register your car at the front desk within 24 hours!
Bill was very responsive even though he was off the island during our arrival, and the house rules are pretty simple. Simply a fantastic stay!

Showed up at 11pm the condo was a complete mess, hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. Besides that the floor rug looked like it hadn't been changed in 10 years, the cupboards doors were all chipped and broken as were the closet doors, nasty carpets.
I called the property manager who said she didn't work there anymore. luckily she texted me the owner's # who I called. He put me up at some cheap days inn for the night and offered to buy me breakfast as a solution. His new property manager then contacted me to say the room wouldn't be clean until the late afternoon. Luckily she offered me a condo at another property as we didn't want to go back and sleep at that nasty condo we had just seen. The owner got really upset as he wouldn't transfer the money we paid for his gross condo to the owner of the new property we were going to stay at. He swore multiple times about how he "had to deal with all this sh*t and how he had to pay for the hotel on our first night". He made us both feel horrible and like it was our fault that his condo looked like a bomb went off. VRBO help desk was completely useless and sided with the owner as they said the owner eventually had people come clean the unit. But there's no way they could get the smell and images out of our heads, but they didn't care about that. Luckily the new property manager Hallie, who found us another place was great. Overall it wasted an entire day of what was supposed to be a relaxing first day in Maui. Horrible experience

This condo is wonderful! Location is great, directly across from Kam III beach/park. Parking was easy. The condo was fully stocked with anything and everything you need. Utilized the BBQ several nights. Ate breakfast with an ocean view every am on the lanai. Kids loved that the pool was so close to the condo. Met some great people at the pool. Lanai closet was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and a cooler for use. Bedroom cooled off well when the AC was turned on. Cannot wait to return! This is a fantastic condo!
