This large one-bedroom has all the comforts of home and then some. It is in a quiet location in the middle of the second floor. The living room overlooks a lush tropical garden with Japanese Koi pond, relaxing waterfalls, a new pool, and picnic and barbecue areas.

All of this is across the street from two sandy beaches for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and diving. Hawaiian sea turtles and tropical fish swim close to shore in a protected cove, and in season, whales breach in the distance.

You will enjoy the sound of the ocean, the birds singing, the tropical breeze, and the amazing sunrise every day from your lanai. With wall-to-wall windows in the living room, cooling trade winds blow through the condo. Snorkel, dive, fishing, and ocean tours, as well as tennis, golf, and restaurants are also nearby.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo feels roomy, has good workspace from a built-in desk, a comfortable king-size bed, ocean views from the balcony, and is well-equipped with everything you need, including a floor fan for the intense Kauai temperatures and humidity. No air conditioning! Nice pool area. The decor is "old Hawaii", and the furniture and decor could use some updating, including a door keypad to eliminate the use of a key, a higher toilet, and a grab bar and non-slip mat for the shower.

It is very close to beaches, shopping centers and restaurants. Love sitting on the balcony and looking out at the bay across the street.

If you love a beautiful view, beautiful gardens and pool and a super-equipped living space, Prince Kuhio is the place to come on Kauai….we had the most fabulous time. We are avid snorkellers, and across the street is the best on the island….sooooo many fish and turtles galore. Thank you 😊

The property was in an amazing location—we walked to the little shopping center more times than I can count and enjoyed a few amazing sunsets across the street at the Beach House! The condo was stocked with literally everything we needed minus food and drinks. Not having AC made the days a bit uncomfortable but luckily we were busy with activities around the island so it wasn’t a huge issue! We left the windows and sliding door open at night and slept quite well overall. The sound of the waves at night was just dreamy. Thank you so much for everything! We would stay again and would recommend anyone else considering this property to do the same!
