Things to do:
Staying at the Islands at Mauna Lani gives you full access to its pool complex complete with spa hot tub and a large pool that comes equipped with a hidden grotto behind a waterfall.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.

Tried to find someone at property
To speak to
Door was not closed
It actually was broken and I called to have it repaired later in our stay
Even tried my code to see if I was able to check Iin

Then a maintenance person came to door
And said you can’t check in
Misunderstanding
Property manager was rude when I spoke to him
We stayed here knowing there was a hot tub

We arrived to a clean, well stocked house- from cookware to serving ware and storage for leftovers. Great places to bike (provided) and walk to- the ponds, petroglyphs, mauna Lani beach and club, neighboring hotels for a drink. 2 hour drive to volcano national park, 15 minutes to hapuna beach, 15 minutes to grocery store, 45 minutes to Kona brewery. Beautiful lanai frequented by goats. Very spacious for 6 adults and 2 kids. Bonus- each bedroom had its own large bathroom! Garage sucked with beach gear - wagon, coolers, umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys, boogie boards. 6 or 7 Beach towels were available for use. We did not need to contact the owners while there. Would highly recommend!

Centrally located in gorgeous Mauna Lani. House had everything - snorkel gear, bikes, boogie boards, coolers; kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, food storage, spices, you name it. Very hard to find places that sleep nine people. I will book again!

The home was gorgeous as was the pool and spa. The kitchen was very well equipped. Loved the walls of windows that totally opened up the gathering area. The separate bungalows were thoroughly enjoyed and added privacy. We all highly recommend this Hawaii rental.

The only item we had an issue with was that the air conditioning was programmed not allowing temperature to be set below 72 degrees. Even with the fans on at night, it was not comfortable sleeping. 70 might have been a better temperature.

The rental exp was very easy. Great job of communicating by the owners/property managers. Only issue is it could have been cleaned better. We actually had to clean some areas when we got there. But other than that it was great and I would recommend. It slept 5 adults comfortably. We would come back!

This is a really nice property for a family gathering. We had 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and one infant and it was plenty of space. Only about 2 minute walk to the community pool which is a great place for kids. Beach club access was really awesome and the garage was stocked full of toys and beach things. Overall great stay and super nice house, the owners are super responsive too with any questions we had.
The only negative were that the downstairs bedroom does not have any blinds in the windows, so you are pretty much subject to sunrise and sunset for trying to sleep. This was difficult for the kids trying to take naps, but we still managed. Also there are 9 remotes on the coffee table which is excessive. Trying to get anything on the TV to work was super difficult. They really need to simplify this as we still were unable to get Netflix to load and had to just stream from our iPad instead. These were both minor issues and did not take away from our enjoyment of renting this property and I would fully recommend it for a larger family

Beautiful location. Got to see goats on the golf course every day. Nice quiet area. Good location for stores shopping getting around. Nice pool. Residence as described in ad, would only request a second beach card and second garage door opener. Appreciated quick response and getting table and chair replaced due to prior damage .

What a fantastic place! Do not hesitate to book. The property is exactly as shown, in fact, even better. It was the most well stocked vacation home I’ve ever used; you will not want for anything. All of the recreational toys in the garage were a lifesaver and were used everyday. Great location to the best beaches and shaved ice on the island. We snorkeled a lot and all agreed the best was at the private beach club.

We will be back! Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and ponds...lovely backyard view of the golf course. Kitchen is nicely equipped for those who enjoy creating meals at home. Toys in the garage were nice to have, snorkel gear was functional which was nice!!

This was our first time ever in The Big Island...tbis rental home was so beautiful clean the views were amazing any questions I had would be answered no matter the time, it was excellently equipped with everything you need from towels to pots and pans just such a welcoming atmosphere the neighborhood was clean and everyone was so friendly I would definitely be returning 💙

We had the best time staying at the Island Melody Villa. The house was just as pictured with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. It was plenty of space for two families. We cooked almost every meal in the kitchen and had all of the right supplies to do so. The location is also great. The quick walk to the pool was a breeze with little kids as was the short drive to the beach club. Having that access was really the cherry on top. We also frequently walked over to the grocery store. We loved making the quick drive to the black sand beach and beach 69. We had such a wonderful trip and will definitley be back!

A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY. IT HAS ALL BEACH EQUIPMENT THAT YOU NEED FOR A FAMILY OF SIX. THE BEDROOMS EACH HAVE THERE OWN SPACIOUS BATHROOM. THE GROUND ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE PRIVATE BEACH IS PERFECT FOR KIDS AND ADULTS. WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.
