The condo is very well located - we loved the patio with the garden access and it's easy to access everything we wanted to see on the south of the island. A beautiful beach is at a 3 minutes walk - perfect sand, lot of waves to play with the kids (there's also a surf school), beach towels and others beach gear included with the condo. We loved the "little fish coffee" just across the street!
We were worried that it would be too hot without air conditioning but we were very confortable.
Our tow suggestions:
- a little bit more of basic supply would be helpful ( cooking oil, spices, laundry soap, ...);
- the bed is very confortable, but the fold out queen size sofa in the living room is too soft - ok for kids but not adults.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The grounds were lovely with a large area to walk around. Nice beach access and an easy walk to other beaches. Pool, restaurants and shopping just across the road within easy walking distance. The condo had everything we needed to cook and the washer and dryer was perfect too. The trade winds were nice to keep it cool and a safe area to keep everything open.

All the amenities I needed. Washer/dryer very handy. Pullout couch available for grandchild from nearby unit wanting to sleep in own bed. Ground floor unit with walkout onto large grass space as well as lanai for relaxing at 'home'. Close to athletic club and local shopping as well as beach. Beach umbrella and chairs available and used. Very relaxing condo and plantation.

Our family had a wonderful time at the resort and this unit. It is in the back row (furthest from the Ocean), but only takes about 2-3 minutes walk to get to the beach. We really loved the proximity to the athletic club, which was perfect for our smaller kids. The unit was clean and nicely updated, great plus to have a washer/dryer there! We also appreciated the two beach chairs and umbrella provided. Thanks for letting us stay in your unit - we can only recommend it!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. Perfect ground floor location so the kids could run out and play on the expansive lawn. Close to everything. So convenient having the drier in the unit. Kitchen had some tupperware and a few basics like salt/pepper. We had a really wonderful time and hope to come back.

This was our 5th time to the island and the Kihuana Planatation. We absolutely loved the location of the property to the beach. It was a nice short, easy walk. The condo is nicely upgraded and very clean. All the comforts of home with a view that is absolutely priceless.

Clean cute unit. The separation of sound from the bedroom/living area and toilet area is not the best. If you’re a light sleeper or have intimacy issues of toilet sounds with other occupants this is not for you. Our bedroom was dark/dim, and mattress uncomfortable. The pullout mattress also could use updating.
The unit IS nice. For the cost of the rental however I would suggest the mattresses be updated. The tower fan in the master doesn’t work. The ceiling fans make it comfortable enough. There is no air conditioning (I’m from Oahu, and we don’t have in our house either).
I am happy with the ground floor walk out lanai so we can exit to the sidewalk to the beach, rather than walk around to the front entrance.
The kitchen area well stocked with dishes etc. Ice machine and convenient to have the washer dryer in the unit. I’d suggest a small cooler be added for guest beach/travel use.

Our stay was so lovely! The condo was clean and nicely updated! The pictures didn't do it justice. The in-unit washer and dryer was so convenient. The location was just perfect! Walking distance to shops and athletic club. We will definitely stay here again...in this unit!

My family loves escaping the rainy PNW to Kauai when we can. We had the best time playing at the beaches, watching the turtles every night at Poipu beach, and relaxing as a family. The unit was perfect and had great amenities, like a washer and dryer, beach chairs, sand toys for the kids, and a boogie board.
