The shower water goes from super hot and you can't get it cold. We opened the bottom windows in the dinning room and living room and the latches didnt work to close them. But everything else was great.
Loved this place to stay. Quiet yet close to lots. Spacious yet cozy feeling. The patio is in shade most of the day yet get a beautiful sunrise and view! Loved it!!!!!

The condo was beautiful with a great location and good views. We loved the nearby beaches. One was great for snorkeling and another was good for boogie boarding. We still enjoy both, even though we are in our seventies.
We had a wonderful stay in the condo thanks to Jim the owner and thanks to prior visitors, who I think left some of the supplies. We added to them. 12-15 min walk to the Grand Hyatt and Shipwreck Beach on oceanside path, depending on how far you want to go. Amazing sunrises seen from the path and beach around 7:15AM. Short drive to local eateries, shopping and Poipu beach, where there is family friendly snorkeling.
This was a perfect trip. The size, condition, and view from the property were undersold. The place was incredibly well stocked and comfortable. We never missed the air conditioning with great breezes and powerful fans. 10/10
The property was just as pictured and described. The view of the ocean and mountains in the distance was beautiful and we enjoyed walking down to Shipwreck Beach and seeing the monk seals and walking along the cliffs there. The property itself was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed (kitchen was well equipped, having a washer and dryer was amazing, and the lanai was a great place to relax and read).My only note is that I thought it was a 10-minute walk to Poipu beach...it was a 10-minute walk to Shipwreck Beach, and we chose the very pleasant 5-minute drive to Poipu Beach. Also worth noting, if you're a light sleeper, that the bedroom is next to the main road and there was noise from cars, though the street was mostly busy in the mornings and late afternoons.Truly it was an enjoyable stay - thank you!!
A bump in the road for the owner Jim as his unit needed work due to sudden water damage. He was wonderful communicator. He kept us update and found us another unit to rent. Poipu Sands is a great location. The pool was fabulous. Even with all the construction around us our stay very nice. We would rent this unit again in the future. What a beautiful view!

My husband and I had a delightful stay at Jim's condo in Poipu. The unit was even better than the pictures! The view of shipwreck beach is amazing and we loved waking up to watch the sunrise every morning, and enjoying our evening meals on the lanai. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need, including high quality cookware. The bed was very comfortable. We actually enjoyed the lack of AC as the trade winds were more than adequate to make the unit comfortable and we were able to enjoy time outside listening to the ocean rather than the neighbor's AC unit. The unit had everything we could need for enjoying the beach including towels, chairs and a little cooler.

We came to enjoy a paradise vacation to celebrate our 40th anniversary. This condo looks exactly like the pictures! Don't hesitate to stay here. Beautiful condo with beautiful views of the ocean and Shipwreck Beach from the lanai. A 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach for sea turtles and monk seals and walkable to a couple of restaurants. Easy check in/out process. While not related to this condo, a MUST DO while on the island is a doors off helicopter tour of the island. Worth every penny!
First of all, the property was larger than I had expected and would be very comfortable for 4 people. The place was fresh and spotless. The view out the front was postcard perfect. The common facilities, (Pool and Gas Grills) were also top notch, and were carefully cleaned by the Condominium staff everyday. The nicest surprise was how complete the kitchen and cooking equipment was. I have been to "high end" places many times where there were just 4 of each kind of dish, glass, cup and eating utensil. This place was awesome in that it had about two complete sets of everything.
It was also nice that there were starter sets of dishwasher and laundry detergents there. we eventually ran out and added more to the cause for the next person.
There is also great access to trails that run down the beach. A nice Tennis Court that was almost always available too. I would seek this specific place out if I come to the the south side of Kauai again.
Loved the property. Easy to get anywhere. Very centrally located. We will definitely try to stay there again when we are in Poipu!
We had a great time staying at this beautiful condo. Perfect location, with a quick walk down to Shipwreck Beach. BBQ’s on site, which was great with the ocean views.
Condo was super clean. Had everything you would need, to include washer and dryer. Host was even nice enough to leave a couple laundry pods. Jim was great to work with. We love Poipu Sands, and this is one of the best condos we’ve stayed in.

This was a wonderful stay! Waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise was everything I could have ever asked for! Everything was clean and basically had everything we needed. I read the reviews before and there were complaints about the car traffic, but I barely heard it and even when I did hear it, it wasn’t a bother! Anyways, I will be back at this condo every visit from now on!!!!
