This is a premier property located directly on the ocean front off Alii Dr. in Kailua-Kona in the historical Kona Magic Sands Resort. Directly on the North side of the building is a park for BBQing and picnicing. Early morning yogis frequent this park. Thirty feet to the West is the turquoise blue ocean where you can see a plethora of yellow tang fish in the surf, snorkelers, outrigger canoe races, spinner dolphins and frolicking whales. Forty feet to the East of the building is an unobstructed view of Alii Dr. and the final marathon leg of the World Championship Ironman triathlon. Directly on the South side of the building is the Magic Sands Beach, which is the only white sand beach in Kailua-Kona. The beach is excellent for boogie boarding and sea turtles commonly swim between your legs while wadding in the warm ocean waters.

I love to take my two mile morning walk to the Green Shack coffee shop and listen to the orchestra of exotic birds. The Kona Trolley shuttle and ebike station are directly across the street if you want a more leisurely travel into downtown Kailua-Kona. The Tropics bar is a great place to quench your thirst with an ice cold Big Swell IPA. The Kona Royal Resort has a top notch luau with a roasted pig cooked in a traditional earthen oven wrapped in tea leaves. It is truly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.

The big island has so much to offer that it is going to take a life time to experience all of it. Some of the favorites include helicopter tours, whale watching, snorkeling, surfing, swimming with the manta rays, jungle waterfall hikes, deep sea fishing and just plain relaxing. Every time I visit, I never want to leave.

Our studio condo has been nicely remodeled with granite counter tops, tiled back splash, new flooring, new ceiling fans and updated paint. It is decorated in the traditional island motif with bamboo furniture, floral patterns and local art with tributes to our neighbors, the sea turtles. The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot and all the necessary dish and cookware. We have beach towels, snorkel equipment, kids beach toys, boogie boards, umbrella, water shoes, pads and chairs including drink coolers for your convenience. There is also a coin operated laundry facility onsite, located on the North side of the building for lengthier stays.

The bed is a Queen sized bed that has eight under drawers and a pass through cabinet. The couch is a hide-away bed that accommodates additional guests. There is a portable divider that can be used to add privacy between the sleeping areas. You will lay in your bed and fall asleep to the smell of the ocean breeze and the meditative sounds of the ocean waves.

Hopefully you are outside playing as much as possible, but we do have wifi and cable for viewing on a 54-inch tv.

We hope you love your stay as much as we do and have experiences you will remember for a life time.

Recent upgrades include high volume ceiling fans, repainting, new bath vanity, solid wood core door and portable AC unit. The louvered front windows will be replaced with privacy sliders around June 2023 time frame.
