Amazing views and access to the beach. Great communication with Florence. The property was extremely clean. For us, the location was perfect. We will miss being steps away from the beach and the soothing sounds of the ocean.
We've stayed here before and upgrades have been made and it's looks very nice. Florence was nice and checked in on us to see how we're doing. We'll be back!

Wonderful stay- the cottage is just like the photos. Clean and spacious. Provision of beach towels & boogie boards was great - with an outside shower to clean off afterwards. A stone’s throw from the beach with beautiful sunrises. Lovely quiet residential area. Felt safe and at ease. Can’t recommend highly enough. Worth every penny and would love to stay again.

Just steps from my favorite beach and walking distance to local coffee shops and restaurants, my birthday trip with my friends was an absolute success. The only downside was lack of spices and cooking oil or spray in the unit. Still a 5* week! Thank you!

This was our 15 yr wedding anniversary and 1st time for our kids to visit Hawaii. It was AMAZING! They kids had fun on the beach every day. The cottage had beach access that was easy and convenient. The house was the perfect size for a family of 4.Thank you!
This property is ideally located and well managed. The property manager is very responsive, very friendly, and provided good instructions for checking in and how to be a good guest. It is important to follow house rules and be respectful here. It is a well kept property in a nice neighborhood. The home was very clean, very spacious, had a nice kitchen. In December/January, we did not need any AC whatsoever, did not use the portable unit. We had a very wonderful stay and are grateful to the owner for opening this property to us.

This was the perfect property for our huge family reunion to celebrate Thanksgiving and our parents' 50th wedding anniversary! Everybody stayed in the main house except for my parents who enjoyed their own oasis in the guest cottage. The private pool and proximity to the beach are unbeatable. A few small utility issues came up and the prop mgr responded right away. This spot is a dream come true when you need a big gathering space with a separate apartment option.
The unit was super clean. The hosts work so hard to make sure you have a great stay. We can't say enough positive things about our stay. We will back!
This was ideal for our stay. The apartment was clean, the furnishings were comfortable, the deck a perfect place to enjoy the surroundings. The only improvement would be to tidy up the small area close to the parking area. to summarize we really enjoyed our stay. Oh yeah, the folks were friendly and accomadating.
We chose this location because our future son-in-law specifically wanted to propose on the beach in Kailua. This was the perfect place for our family to “hide” since our daughter didn’t know anything about it, and didn’t know we were here from NC. We were actually able to see her walk up the public beach access from the unit, and then sneak out behind her unseen for him to get down on one knee. She said yes! Then she saw us come out and was doubly surprised.
Our host was aware of our plans and was warm and accommodating.
After that initial excitement on the day of check-in all went well. The place was roomy and well equipped and there was a lovely view of the ocean from the deck.
Be aware that the place is not air conditioned and it did get quite hot particularly at the beginning of our stay. There was a small AC unit in the primary bedroom, but it you need empty the drain pan, which we found to be more trouble than it was worth, so we chose not to use it after the first night.
The location was great, it was close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, hikes, etc. All-in-all it was a great experience! Thank you!
This was a perfect home away from home and soo much larger than expected! We were literally steps from a beautiful beach that spanned as far as you could see with few people at any given time. The place was impeccably clean and contained anything needed to cook or clean, also the owners were excellent to deal with and were super friendly, I give this place 5 stars, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks for having us!
To start off positive, property & location were satisfactory. Unit was spacious, well-updated, had all amenities needed for beach & kitchen use, great parking, wonderful beach access. Not pleasant was property managers were at property every day, all day, we were there. We werent warned ahead of time. No privacy and had to listen to hammering, drilling & noisy gardening tools outside. All things we dont want to listen to on a "relaxing" Hawaiian vacation. On 2nd day there, we got home end of day, they were there, said they're doing renovations to vacant property directly below, preparing for rental asap. They said they called (missed call, left voicemail) to ask if we were home so they can shut off water for a few hours. Had we been home, we would NOT have agreed to it. They also said we turned off switch for the attic fan which helps keep the unit cool. Unfortunately we accidentally turned it off. When we went upstairs, we noticed switch was back on. We understand the need to keep the attic fan on to help keep the unit cool. But were NOT ok with them entering the unit without our permission. The bedrooms NEED thick curtains, not sheers - let too much light in and NEED ceiling fans in rooms. Installed a new security light outside one day that was too sensitive & came on by wind blowing trees every few minutes, lit up bedrooms at night due to thin curtains. The day before check out, even asked us what time we planned to leave, made us feel rushed. Wouldnt stay here again.
The property is close to the beach. The beach where the cottage is is sparsely populated. There's a portable AC in the master. Plenty of parking and if you get lucky you might be able to use the mainhouse pool! All applainces are in good shape and work well. Internet and TV is sufficient too. Peakaboo view of the ocean from the living room and lanai. Peoperty manager is awesome and always available.

We stayed a week, was on the road everyday but one seeing the sites of the Island. Great beach time, very close to the ocean. What a lovely location. We will be back again.
Coming from the Northeast and a 5 hr time difference we opted to arrive a few days early before our family to acclimate, being that we are 78 and 82. We were able to enjoy the beach with its close and easy access and relax with all the necessary amenities offered in this cozy cottage. We moved to the big house on the beach directly behind us after 4 days and 10 other members of our family joined us for a week. Florence (house manager) was excellent in handling any concerns.
Just had a great 10 days over Christmas at this lovely unit right by Kailua beach. Communication was quick and effective, everything as described and absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would stay again!
