Great location on the island overall, and in relation to being away from yet close to downtown Kona; and my goodness, across the street from a great snorkeling and surfing spot, the 24/7 ocean view and of course the sunsets.Well-appointed condo including the kitchen with so many of the tools of modern living, and comfortable mattresses and climate control.
The location was great—close to the beach but still quiet enough to unwind. The host was kind, responsive, and made check-in/check-out so easy.
Beautiful third floor condo overlooking Kalaluu Bay. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach along with a large variety of snorkel gear. Comfortable beds, hot showers and AC. Communication with the owner was excellent. Thank you for an amazing visit.

What an amazing spot! Loved watching my husband surf from the lanai while my baby napped. The apartment had everything we could possibly need from a surfboard down to seasonings. The owners are exceptionally responsive to questions!

I can't say enough good things about this property. I have three teenagers and they absolutely loved it. It was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was honestly one of the best Airbnb we've stayed in. The owner was great, and readily available for anything.The location is perfect, it has amazing snorkeling and a great beginner break to boogie board and surf. The property has everything there, which is amazing! I like it because it's not as crowded as some other spots. It's about a mile to the Kta and some restaurants.The pool is also very well maintained. We would snorkel during the day and then use the awesome grill and hang out at the pool.Another thing I didn't even realize is that it was air conditioned.The lanai is so nice. I loved having my morning coffee there and then watching the beautiful sunset at night.You really can't go wrong with this property!
It is a nice condo at great location and it’s well stocked. The host stayed on top of everything.
We loved our stay at this property — the location was perfect and it had everything we needed for an incredible vacation. We especially appreciated all the beach gear provided, which made it so easy to snorkel at one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii. And the view was incredible. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short! We can’t wait to come back.
The condo is in a great location! Beautiful ocean views from the third floor. We enjoyed walking over to the best snorkel beach daily. All the beach gear was available at the condo to borrow. The condo was very well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen basics. The pool area is nice if you want a break from the ocean. Duane was easy to reach and quickly responsive to questions. Parking is on site. Condo is a bit dated but very comfortable. We would stay again.
The house had everything we needed during our stay. It was very clean and comfortable.The road in front was pretty busy but the speed was very low so we felt safe walking to the beach. It was fun watching the surf school from the balcony. Check in was very easy. I didn't realize we would not have an elevator but that was my fault for not checking. It worked out though. All in all a very good experience.from the balcony
Had a great time on Big Island, especially at Volcanoes National Park. Condo was great location for home. Owners were very attentive.
Fully furmished 2 bedroom, two bath with a great view in a third floor walkup. Also has a foldout sofa bed, a nice selection of beach gear. A quiet pool, off street parking, and responsive owners. It suited our needs very well.
This home was fantastic for our time in Kona. The view and location were amazing. The home was extremely comfortable for the 5 of us. We appreciated all the extras the home has to offer including the kitchen supplies and water sports equipment. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Had a fun birthday visit to the Big Island. Great place to stay with my family. All possible amenities were available when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.
Condo was awesome! View is spectacular! Probably the cleanest and stocked places I've stayed. Duane and Cheri are terrific hosts with excellent communication. We'll be back!
We enjoyed the ocean view every morning while having coffee. The unit was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The sunsets were beautiful!
We were very satisfied with the rental in August on the western side of the big island. From the balcony we viewed beautiful sunsets every evening. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessities. In addition to lots of dishware and cooking pots. There was foil, wraps, seasonings, a full kitchen, paper towels and napkins.
We enjoyed driving to great places around the island. The laundry in the unit came in very handy too,
This was a great location for snorkeling and surfing which was right across the street. We had toddlers and grandparents and it worked well for everyone. Well stocked withe gear and necessities. Host very helpful and responsive.
Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the island. Hit each side and some of them twice. Long days of exploring, tired at the end of the day. But have to say coming home to our condo at the end of our travels was a wonderful way to end our days. The pool was such a pleasant way to unwind. Just as advertised. Road might be a little noisy sometimes but nothing to keep you from enjoying the views and relaxing on the lanai. Very thankful for good working ac. Mahalo to our wonderful hosts.
An absolute gorgeous apartment on the 3rd floor, home from home. The sunsets were just amazing, watching the surfers was an added bonus. So close to a great snorkeling and surf spot and close to supermarkets and Kona. We used the free trolley a few times when we could catch it into Kona which was great. Car parking was tricky as we had a big SUV, not an issue if you have a small car. Apartment was very clean, AC was great, my son slept very well on the pull out sofa. Pool area was amazing which was added bonus, my wife loved taking photos of the gekos! Host's were amazing, friendly and dealt quickly to all queries. We'd love to return, gutted the apartment is on the other side of the world to us! .
Duane is an attentive host. Many items such as beach chairs, coolers and kids toys were very helpful. Property location is ideal. We enjoyed watching the surfers from the couch. Will stay here again.
Great location for all things Big Island. The apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath place to call home for your time here. It is close to a beach and shopping. If you want to venture out more it’s an easy drive to everywhere. The home is well thought out with all comforts available. Snorkel gear check. Boogie boards check. Surf board check. Chairs, umbrellas, life vests, board games, etc. I could go on and on. And the view….Book it. You won’t be disappointed.

We’re happy we found this condo. The reviews were right! Duane was helpful before our arrival & during our stay. A nice surprise was the condo was ready earlier than check-in time. He checked on us & wanted to know if there were any issues he could resolve right away. He’s been the most proactive & responsive VRBO owner we’ve had. His condo’s GORGEOUS view helped us decide the Big Island is our favorite Hawaii island. He even bought my 7-year-old granddaughter a life jacket, because the condo didn’t have one her size…a lifesaver when we swam in the ocean at beautiful Kua Bay Beach. He & his family stayed at the condo before we came & left their unopened food, which was a blessing. The condo was stocked with everything you needed. We traveled with a family group of 25 who were in 4 different condos, and a few of them complained their condo didn’t have enough towels, ran out of toilet paper, or parts of their condo wasn’t cleaned. It’s a little walk to the shopping center, but doable at 25 min. We chose this place, because we preferred to be by the ocean. Our condo was on the 3rd floor, but we didn’t mind the stairs, since it gave us such an amazing ocean view, which is addicting waking up to. The pool has a beautiful ocean view too & was like a tropical haven. Don’t miss out snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach, because it truly is like swimming in a fish bowl, and we loved that it was just a walk across the street. We’d love to come back & stay here again! The views are very hard to beat. The beach across the street was the best snorkeling we did in Hawaii. The condo is very well stocked with everything you will need and then some. Don't pass this place by. The owner was very helpful and recommended some great places to eat.
