While we found the home itself comfortable and quite sufficient for our needs, the location at Waikloloa required driving constantly (speed bumps are not fun) to the shops, restaurants, and the beach was simply too far to walk to. Our neighbor there who manages the home addressed a few initial problems we found, so overall a good visit.
The Colony Villas are a great option when staying in Waikoloa and the most reasonably priced. This unit is not as fully updated as others in the complex but it was just fine for our purposes. The master bed is comfortable and everything works. There is a decent selection of kitchen supplies as well as everything you need for the beach.
Tho it had views only of parking lots, the unit was well appointed and had all the beach things you might use. Tho tidy, it was not really clean. One shower had hair on the walls. It appeared not to have been dusted in quite a while. Bedding was just ok.
The property was as described and in the pictures. All the beach supplies were a huge bonus, especially the umbrella. The sun is strong at the beach. The location is perfect - close to a lot but without the busyness of some of the other developments in the area.
We would definitely stay here again!

This was a very well equipped clean and gorgeous house with everything you need for a trip to the Big Island. We enjoyed the area and the pool and the grounds are well looked after. Convenient shopping beaches and restaurants close by. Highly recommended!
This is the perfect homebase for big island adventures. Fantastic location for beach and pool access. Beautiful Condo that is immaculately clean and comfortably furnished. We would love to come back and stay again!
Thank you so much for a very comfortable stay at your beautiful condo. We had everything we needed for the week and really appreciated the full kitchen, laundry, beach towels and chairs. The location is great and the condo neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. Close to shopping, beaches, grocery stores.
The pictures are true and correct. The property was clean and had everything stated in the description. The host was available and responded to questions. No issues with the rental. Enjoyed the stay and would book again. The weather was excellent, the property was excellent and fit our needs. Many Thanks for sharing the property with us.
The layout of the upstairs master bedroom/bathroom was ridiculous. The in swinging door completely blocks the bathroom/closet when opened. The kitchen has plenty of dishes but the pots and pans leave a lot to be desired. The entry and the patio were in need of cleaning. Basically we were disappointed in our choose of this unit. It needs some attention
