Welcome to Keahou Estates, a private gated subdivision at an elevation 518 feet above the beautiful south Kona coastline, where the surf’s whisper greets you upon wakening and lullabies you to sleep at night. We are just around the corner from several restaurants, a grocery and a drug store, plus a movie theater; the snorkel beach is only 2 miles down the road; and downtown Kona is a short seven- to ten-minute drive. Our home is nestled in the preferred south end of the neighborhood--well away from the sounds of traffic on the main roads--and near the end of a cul-de-sac. You'll find lush landscaping on either side for maximum privacy—you won’t even know you have neighbors! We sit well above the houses below, so much so that we can easily boast the best (and dare we say the most romantic) sunset view in the entire neighborhood.

Our home is in like-new condition and professionally decorated. You are going to love the modern furnishings, the travertine flooring throughout, as well as our new 77” LG OLED TV and state of the art surround sound system in the Great Room! Each of the four bedrooms has its own marble-tiled, full bathroom, as well as its own flat screen television, and private lanai. The master bedroom has even more: a whirlpool tub--and our brand-new outdoor shower garden! We guarantee that after enjoying a shower in our new outdoor tropical shower garden, you will find it hard to ever shower indoors again! Granite countertops and custom cabinets line the open kitchen, which would make any chef happy with its Jenn-Air gas range and Dacor double oven and microwave. For casual dining, four wicker bar stools pull up to the over-sized kitchen island. The distressed teakwood dining table (one of a kind from Indonesia) seats eight. As for the living room, relax in comfort as you enjoy the entertainment of the High Definition TV with DVD and surround-sound speakers. Or sit back and listen to the concerto of your choice as it is played for you on the baby grand player piano. Finally, don’t miss the vaulted ceilings that span the entire living space! This house has it all! Infinity pool with ocean views for days (unheated but the sun warms it up); 4 bedrooms with 5 beds available; ample storage (closets with hangers); toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, qtips, basic sunscreen/aloe/bug spray left over from other guests in the half bathroom); plenty of kitchen accessories (air fryer, blender, kuerig and drip coffee); snorkeling gear/beach chairs/beach towels/sun shade. Katie was communicative, quick for outreach/follow up before and during our stay!

When we saw the photos online of this house we knew it was going to be pretty but it’s nothing like seeing it in person…it’s just absolutely gorgeous! We spent every morning drinking coffee on the back porch looking out at the ocean and enjoying all the various birds that visited. Everyone loved swimming in the pool and eating our meals on the covered eating area outside. It was a great experience for all of my family! (One tip - if you’re second guessing getting the AC like I did (in May) just go for it! We added it on after arriving and I’m so glad we had it because some days we really warm outside.)

We rented this property to celebrate a few 40th birthdays. It was perfect! The beds were comfortable, everything we could have wanted or needed in the home was provided including pool toys, beach bags, a pack n play and extra pillows/blankets. The pool was beautiful and the kids loved jumping in to the deep end as well as having a smaller attached shallow section to play in. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. If we find ourselves in Hawaii again, we would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the property was beautiful, well maintained, inviting - just lovely! While we had activities every day, it was hard to leave the infinity pool. Luckily we got back for a few fabulous sunsets. The house is just beautiful. Also well stocked with soap, shampoo, blow dryers-very nice added touch. Thanks for letting us rent for the week. Just outstanding.

Hale Keani exceeded our expectations from the spectacular views to the spaciousness of the home to the beautiful outdoor area. This was the perfect place for our family of eight to spend time together in between all of our sightseeing and activities and create lasting memories. It is so easy to live the aloha lifestyle in this home. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

Stunning home, perfect for a large group or family. The layout is ideal and everything you could need is available to you. Wish we could have stayed longer! Can’t beat the view and the house is very well equipped. The pool had some issues but the home owner did their best to resolve them. The garbage situation is also a bit to manage as you can only put out a limited amount. With a large family this can present a challenge. But overall these were very minor issues.
