Hawaii, Big Island, Kona, Keauhou Punahele, golf course with the ocean in the background. The condo is located close to Keauhou Bay, Keauhou shopping center (with cinema) and snorkel/surfing beaches.
We have owned this top floor 3 bedroom/3 bath room unit overlooking the 7th green /8th tee box of the Kona Country Club Ocean Course for over 17 years and have recently renovated the kitchen, master and guest bathrooms and placed new tile on the lanai. The vaulted ceilings with fans enhance the breezy Hawaiian atmosphere which is accentuated by the many Hawaiian themed paintings, painted by the owner. The master bedroom has a Cal King size bed with adjoining twin sink bathroom and large walk in shower. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and uses the second bathroom with a walk in shower. The loft bedroom has XL Twin size beds and a bathroom with a walk in shower. The full size washer and dryer are in a closet in the second bathroom.
The new kitchen has a beautiful granite counter top, ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and garbage disposal. It is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, blender, can opener, toaster, etc. There is a propane BBQ on the lanai with a patio table and six chairs. Snorkel masks, fins and beach toys are available for your use. There is cable TV, blueray DVD player and Wifi. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are a short walk from the condo.
This is a no smoking complex with no smoking allowed in the condos, on the lanais , the swimming pool or on the condo grounds. There is a designated smoking area adjacent to the parking lot.

My husband and I with 3 of our grandkids (12, 12 and 15) stayed here for a wonderful 10 days in early August. The condo is comfortable and clean, fitting all our needs. There is no AC, which is not really an issue since the numerous fans do a great job of circulating the air and cooling. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. There is a great variety of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas which we used every day. We didn't go to the pool at all, however from past stays in this complex I know it is wonderful. Every question I had was quickly responded to by Cor, communication was excellent! We will definitely keep this condo unit in mind on our next visit to Hawaii!

Upon arrival I was astounded at the beauty of the condo’s interior for the price we were paying! Spacious and wonderfully decorated with local art! Beautiful bathrooms! A very generous lanai overlooking a golf course. The condo was very comfortable. Although there was no AC, the air circulation was good. I look forward to returning!

The unit was clean and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The beds are very comfy as is all the furniture. My only comments are the description says three bedrooms when in reality it's two bedrooms and a loft, which opens up to the living room. Less privacy than expected. Also, the beach gear provided is plentiful, however, the boogie boards were mostly broken.
Also there's no air conditioning.
Overall I would recommend this property.

We lived in Kona for some years but it had been a long time since we've visited. The place was just what we hoped and the perfect size for our family of six. It was well equipped and had all the beach supplies you need to enjoy the island. A huge plus over staying in a hotel.

It was so peaceful and quiet staying at this beautiful condo at Keauhou Punahele. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the golfers play on the adjacent golf course. We also enjoyed late nights on the balcony listening to the high surf crash against the shore line when the ocean got rough! Also enjoyed relaxing inside the condo enjoying our books when it was too hot to enjoy the balcony. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this condo and will hopefully book it for next year if it is available!!

This was a stay vacation for we live in Hilo. I love Hilo but it rains a lot and Kona side was sunny and beautiful. This condo is located on the 7th hole of the Kona Coast Country Club golf course and the view every day is amazing. The condo was great, it had everything you can think of. Most of the week was my husband and I but my daughter and her husband and two keikis came for the weekend. Enough space for everyone, this condo is bigger than our hale in Hilo. The only minus would be finding parking for the extra car, and you have to be very quiet. (Though the downstairs condo was partying all weekend, they kept it down and it didn't bother us.) So here is the thing. We actually have a week at the Kona Coast Resort but couldn't this week, so we would definitely come back here again if we don't have our week. Mahalo, it was a great stay vacation.

Cornelis was very responsive to any of our questions. This is a lovely condo with views of the ocean and golf course. The condo had everything we needed for a two week stay (well equipped kitchen, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas). It could use a little updating (e.g replace carpeting with lvp flooring), but overall was clean and comfortable. Would rent again!

The complex, grounds and the pool are all very nice but the condo is beginning to look quite tired and in need of updating. We previously came to this condo in 2016 and to be honest nothing has changed since then.
Some of the linens and towels although clean have staining.
Our biggest and most serious concern are the beds in the loft area.
My daughters used these beds and within a few days my daughter had a painful and stiff neck due to the mattress which appears to be either totally worn out or of very inferior quality. Her neck was so sore she attended a walk in clinic and a local massage therapist.
On returning home the pain had spread from her neck into her shoulder and down her arm and she spent the night in the ER where after extensive tests revealed she now has a long thoracic nerve injury which may take up to 12 months to heal.

Loved the location, out of the busy areas. We picked the dry and sunny side of the island. The condo had everything we could need. A large selection of snorkeling and beach items.
