We’ve stayed at a lot of condos on the Kohala Coast and this one stood out for its high quality kitchen, bathrooms, and amenities given the very affordable price range (for the area). The only downside was the lack of a shower or tub in the third bathroom so anyone staying in that bathroom has to borrow the other bathrooms to bathe.

Other than that, everything was great. The pool is large and there were seldom any other people in it. The outdoor lanai with the gas fire pit was a nice spot to relax. There are control panels for the surround sound system, air conditioning, and lighting. Excellent wine glasses, a wine fridge, nice convection oven: very good communication with the property manager via text.

The home is very nicely put together. Control system is great - lights at a touch of a button are very handy. Layout is great. Clean place (and clean and function rentals are a big issue for me) great - although some cookware could use a better clean (the only issue I could offer on the home actually). The best praise I can offer is that I would rent this home again when I return to the big Island. Thanks for being truthful & honorable on the VRBO offering.

The property is perfectly situated with amenities (pool and shops) in walking distance. The beach club is a relaxing run-distance of 3 miles away. The house is very clean and well stocked. I’d highly recommend this property for a family getaway!

This is a lovely, high-tech accommodation. We particularly noticed how well equipped it was from brand-new copper pots and pans and an ample supply of zip locks all the way to extra swim goggles in the event you forgot your own! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Having never visited the Hawaii islands, in addition to coordinating family members from three continents to meet up, it was really important to get this holiday right. Kamilo #407 was a perfect vacation home in every way. The house was faultless in quality, fit out and amenity. We loved each and every day there and after two weeks, felt like we were leaving too soon. The Kamilo resort pool and recreational facilities are excellent as is the property management team. The Mauna Lani Resort has an excellent supermarket, nice shops and restaurants with everything you could need and more. The local beaches to the north and south were all outstanding and we alternated between our favourite four as well as the Kamilo pool. The weather on the Kohala coast was beautiful one day and perfect the next at low to mid 80's and sunny. Unlike other parts of big island and Oahu, we got no rain, just perfect sunny warm days. We would stay at Kamilo #407 again in a heartbeat, and love the flexibility of a house vacation over a hotel. Specific to Kamilo #407, it is wired as a 'Smart Home' with great TV screens in each bedroom as well as music speakers where you can play your favourite music from your phone. Alex is also in each room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook, blend and roast. All equipment was of high quality and in abundance. Plenty of linen, towels, beach towels and beach chairs. We wanted for nothing and were able to relax and enjoy being together on a memorable holiday.

My Daughter and I had a wonderful time at Kamilo 407! We felt so at home, everything we needed was supplied and then some. The mattress in the master bedroom is amazing! I have never slept better. The property manager was so helpful! Best vacation ever!

We have very busy work schedules and quality family time is far and few. We are grateful to Elite Property Management for helping us to find the perfect Hawaiian vacation oasis. The home was fully stocked with what we needed. From the well thought kitchen utensils, baking pans, dishware to the thick towels, beautiful bedding, and the modern smart home enhancements, we couldn’t have stayed at a better place. The lanai view was peaceful and lovely, the wifi was spectacular an allowed us to stay in contact with our business communications throughout all areas of the home. My husband and kids got spoiled by the 4k tvs and the Playstation 4 Pro! We loved the gated community, its amenities, the location, and the house was absolutely perfect for our family, we will be back!
