Disappointed that a resort with the word "beach in it's name didn't have beach access and additional blocked the view from of the beach from the pool area with large plywood boards. We should have been notified that the beach was closed. We would have selected a different resort to stay for our vacation. We booked early before the beach restoration started and didn't find out until after we checked in. Very disappointed in no communication about that issue.

The property was nice. My only complaint was the booking process. My requested dates were accepted, but when I went to pay the dates and the price was different (higher of course). When I tried to call the number listed all I ever got was a recording. The changed dates resulted in a higher plane fare. Suffice it to say, I started with a bad impression, but it was nothing a week on Maui couldn’t fix.

Beautiful room, incredible view! Impeccably clean with a well provided kitchen. The resort was very well maintained, the grounds were fabulous. We spent a few days visiting Napili Cove for turtle sightseeing and enjoyed the frequent dolphin sightings. The boardwalk is great in the evenings and for viewing the sunset. There is a grocery across the street which was convenient, as well as a fabulous coffee shop- we will definitely be back!
