This couldn't have been a more perfect location for our family vacation. Walking distance to the beach, a beautiful view and the ocean to lull us to sleep every night. Amenities were spot on and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back on our next stay on Kauai! Mahalo!

This home was exactly as pictured, beautiful! It literally was across the street from 1 beach and 5 min. walk to another. We enjoyed the privacy on the deck and in the best pool. It was well stocked in the kitchen, beds and couch so comfy, good communication with owners, and the view....There's nothing wrong with this place. OK, 1 thing. They need better bed pillows. This place checked all the boxes. Best vaca ever!

Absolutely enjoyed this wonderful home...saw dolphins, turtles, whales and lots of chickens,,,,.(bring binoculars) right from the comfort of the breakfast table.
A morning swim to start the day...very convenient to surfing too.
Black out curtains would be a great addition as there are lots of evening lights.

Our family has stayed at Hale Hali'a for five times, and we love the location and the home. The screen porch is perfect for watching sunrises, sunsets, whales -- and this year dozens of dolphins came to play. The kitchen is a dream especially for a family of fabulous cooks. We look forward to coming again.

Location Location Location!!! You can not beat it. Right across the street is the beach. You can see the ocean and hear the waves. It’s absolutely beautiful. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 5 & 3. We all had our own bedroom and the house provided plenty of room for all of us. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication as well. We loved the hot tub and pool. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you for sharing your oasis!!!

The location is wonderful. The house is immediately across from a good body/boogie board surfing beach. To the right within a very short walk across a public park are a kiddie beach, a protected reef for shallow water snorkeling, a turtle and seal refuge, and a bit further a beautiful beach with middling waves and deeper water snorkeling. For early morning before-sunrise walks, there is a lit paved path up the hill to the Grand Hyatt.
The house was amply sized for a very large, extended family (2 grandparents, 5 adult children, and 3 young grandchildren). You feel like you are at the beach in the very large family, dining room, kitchen area at the front of the property, which overlooks the ocean and beach. Everyone could (and did) hang out there and not feel crowded. This area is very well furnished and thoughtfully laid out. The downstairs bedrooms, where our adult children and grandchildren stayed, were each just large enough for a portable crib and a small inflatable bed. All the beds were comfortable. There are three large bathrooms.
The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, including two large refrigerators.
The hot tub was much used, particularly by the young ones. The pool is attractive but chilly in winter.
The house is the best maintained VRBO property we have stayed at. There was one small issue that the owners immediately addressed (they were nice to talk with on the phone).
This is the best place we have stayed on the Islands. I hope we can return.

We loved staying at this property. Everyday we walked across the street to the beach and to the park to see the turtles. It is really convenient to have the restaurant and deli just down the street. The house is really big and comfortable. The view of the ocean is stunning. We also used the pool every single day and my kids had a blast.

The location, the pool, the hot tub, everything you need to live as a family in Hawaiin paradise!! Ian was a great host. Very responsive, accommodating and friendly. We really hope to return again. My husband and I and our 3 adult sons and their wife/girfriends enjoyed every single moment here!!! Comfortable accommodations for 8 adults. Don’t hesitate, book this amazing place!!!
