CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Kaanapali Shores Resort is under spalling construction until around June 2024. We would like to advise you that there could be construction noise during your stay. We are not sure how much disruption will occur. You may experience construction noise, one day it can be loud and on other days it can be quiet.
Aston Kaanapali Shores is a 3-star, AAA-rated 10-acre oceanfront resort located on the famous North Kaanapali Beach. Property was in a great location! Close to truck yard you can walk to for food/coffee and not a far drive to Whalers Village and Front Street. We rented scooters to get around which can be rented right next to the hotel. Views from the room were excellent! Hotel was doing some remodeling so noisy during the day on the side we were staying but we were gone most of the time when they were working.

We loved our trip to Kaanapali! The condo was gorgeous! Great view of the ocean, pool and nightly sunsets. Comfortable king bed master for my husband & I and twin beds in the kids’ room. The property had everything we needed: pool, restaurant/bar, shops and was close to everything. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed here before and love this location for many reasons. However the staff this time lost their Aloha spirit and couldn’t even muster up a smile when we walked past the desk or a good morning when passing in the hallways. It definitely changes the way you feel about a vacation when you don’t feel welcome. We will stay somewhere else if we come back to Maui in the future.
