If you don't care to drive, you have plenty of options within walking distance. Great people, great view. It did the job. This unit could definitely use some updating but it’s still better than a hotel. I hope y’all throw away the comforter as the feathers have shifted to the edges making it very uncomfortable to sleep.

The balcony is wonderful! Beautiful views of the ocean as well as the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals, and we were glad there was an ice maker in the freezer. It did get hot inside since there is no air conditioning. We did not spend a lot of time indoors during the day so it was ok. We did leave the balcony door open overnight and it was refreshing to have a nice breeze. This unit is very convenient and within walking distance to some local restaurants.
