Everything Poipu has to offer is a beautiful walk away on either the Koloa Heritage Trial or the Poipu Kai Greenbelt. This is includes restaurants, shopping, adventure outfitters, tennis courts, pickle courts, playground, and, of course, those beautiful beaches. Two great golf courses are just a mile’s drive.
A PERFECT POIPU DAY
Awake to the sounds of palm fronds and waves, and enjoy coffee on the screened lanai.
Grab your snorkel and walk to Poipu Beach to enjoy the morning fish in the warm calm waters.
Play a round of golf or join in a tennis clinic at one of the beautiful facilities near the cottage. Then sit down for a patio lunch at a local cafe.
Walk to Nukomoi’s to rent stand-up paddleboards and try this new favorite sport. Or take boogie boards from the cottage to try the waves at Brennecke’s.
Crawl onto a chaise in the garden for a few pages of your book and a nap.
Prepare a tropical salad in the fully-equipped gourment kitchen, grill fish from the Koloa Fish Market under the pergola, and relax on the garden patio with wine from The Wine Shop in Koloa.

Cottage was exactly as shown. Beautiful location steps from the beach. Screened in porch was lovely.The beach can be quite crowded, but the cottage is situated on a quiet street. Excellent snorkelling and body surfing.Close to grocery store, stores and restaurantsHighly recommend!!!!

I can’t think of anything I needed, and that says a lot. We rent every year in Poipu and were looking for a cottage closer to the beach versus a condo farther down the green belt. I seriously wish I could bottle the Ohana spirit of this one and bring it home with me. It was PERFECT. Mahalo Pam, for memories that we will treasure until next time.

We loved this darling cottage! Everything about it was just right. The charming decor, outdoor spaces, location to the beach, well appointed kitchen, and all the beach toys made for super fun and relaxing vacation. We have stayed at many vrbo's and this just may be our favorite! We woll be back for certain!!

This little cottage mage our trip to Kauai everything we hoped it would be. Perfectly located about 100 yards to the beach on a quiet residential street, it was the perfect “oasis” on the south shore.
Forget the “condos” of Poipu Kai and immerse yourself in the real spirit of being a “local” by relaxing in your own private cottage.

This home was a wonderful place to stay for our Hawaii vacation. The house was so close to Poipu Beach but when you were there, it did not feel like it. The house itself was a wonderful place to rest in between Kauai adventures. We particularly loved the screened in porch, where we could feel the ocean breezes and listened to the birds (and roosters!). The interior was lovely and well appointed. We were not in need for anything. The property owner was prompt and responsive to any inquiries 10 out of 10 from us. --P&T from California

The little yellow bungalow was the perfect accommodations for our group of 3. Its steps away from the beach, close to shopping and restaurants. Pam, the host, is attentive and welcoming. Definitely returning to this lovely home.

Enjoyed our time here at the cottage so much! Our favorite part was listening to the ocean from the lanai. I can hear it now. Everything went well, although I will say the television needs updating in the living area and master bedroom as well as the baby pack and play chair. Overall, these elements did not ruin our stay at all and I appreciate the quick response from the property manager when addressing any issues. Hopefully they can make the updates. Will definitely be back again!

I would round up my stay to 3.5 stars but I listed it as 3 stars because of cleanliness issues. The property looks so bright and cheerful in the listing but in reality it just didn't feel clean and felt a bit dingy. For example, the master bed had a huge dust coating over the bedframe which felt disconcerting as you don't want to sleep in a dusty bed. The ceiling fans and towel rack over the toilet were coated in dust...The ants were also horrible. They list this as a problem in the property instructions but we were careful with food and still found ants in the shower and our suitcases. They attacked a nightguard in its case on the bedside table--just really gross. Again, things didn't feel clean. Even some of the dishes in the cabinets were coated with sticky residue. And there weren't as many personal touches as I'm used to with VRBOs. No filtered water or soap provided. The location was stellar; five minute walk to the beach. But we were a bit let down by the property.

What an amazing beach cottage! Perfect location. Easy access to 3 distinct beaches, a playground, a deli and popular hot dogs. We had a blissful 10 days at this Poipu beach cottage. Can’t wait to return!

Such a great place. Clean, cozy and steps to two great beaches. Cottage is fully equipped with everything you need including plenty of beach supplies. My family is already planning a return visit!
