Kona Coffee Estate Guest Apartment with Ocean and Garden Views
Our estate is situated on the slopes of Mt. Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are located just 15 minutes from the Kona Airport, 10 minutes from the quaint coastal town of Kailua-Kona, 10 minutes from the artists’ village of Holualoa, and also 10 minutes from Costco! We are at a comfortable 1500' elevation in the Kona Coffee growing corridor. We have over 100 Kona Coffee trees on our property, along with papayas, avocados, bananas, pineapples, and tangerines that we will share with you when in season.
Separate from the main house on the estate and above the garage, we offer a private, peaceful, Hawaiian motif 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and bamboo floors throughout. There is high speed wireless Internet throughout the apartment , and a 43” smart TV with free Netflix in the living room.
There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a Euro lounge sofa/bed that converts into a 46' x 78' bed (almost full size) in living room, with all linens supplied. The bathroom has a large walk-in tiled shower with plenty of bath and beach towels supplied for your use. The bedroom and kitchen have views overlooking the ocean.
The large sunny living room extends onto your large private lanai through 16' sliding glass doors overlooking the lush gardens & greenbelt. There is a gas BBQ, and dining table with 4 chairs on the lanai. Watch the native birds and the occasional wild pigs stroll by!
The unit is perfect for 1 couple +, maximum 4 persons (check convertible bed size), but not suitable for toddlers. Overall square footage, including lanai is 816 sq. ft. It is not handicap accessible as there are stairs up to the apartment.
You are also welcome to enjoy the gazebo anytime which overlooks the estate, harbor, and Pacific Ocean. It is especially nice at sunset.
There are laundry facilities available for your use in the apartment. There is also a drying rack. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and coolers are also available for your use.
Kailua-Kona has several world renowned events, including the Ironman Triathlon in October, and the International Billfishing Tournament in August, along with ongoing outdoor athletic events. There is lots to do on the Big Island. You can fish, surf, snorkel, scuba dive, kayak, swim with the dolphins, golf, see a volcano, hike, bike, and star gaze at an observatory, when road is open.
We are onsite owners who manage this accommodation which is a part of our estate’s pride of ownership. We want you to make yourselves at home and treat it with the respect you would your own home.

Absolutely amazing stay! I can't begin to describe how wonderful the Kona Coffee Estate is. Immaculately kept with beautiful furnishings and beach gear included. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Not to mention our hosts, Donna and Robbie, were so welcoming and kind! As a bonus they provided us with celebratory champagne upon our arrival as we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary! You cannot go wrong in booking this fabulous property! We will definitely return!

We cannot say enough good about Donna & Robbie’s place. So lovely and relaxing. Definitely book many nights. We stayed only 2 and I didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed fresh fruit and some of their farm’s coffee. A great place to linger in the mornings. Super clean, bed very comfy, artwork tasteful and pleasing. Frogs loud but they provide earplugs. (Didn’t interfere with sleep for us) We will def stay here again if we make it back to the big island! Aloha

We kicked off our anniversary trip to Hawaii with our stay at Kona Coffee Estate. And we are so glad we did!
Wonderful, unique spot with everything you could need or want. We loved being serenaded by the frogs and awoken by the roosters. We truly felt we were in Hawaii/Kona.
Great views - watched the day start from the kitchen and saw a rainbow from the bedroom.
Very close to the artist district but far enough away from the city to relax.
Highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was surrounded by nature, and we loved being in midst of birdsong and other sounds of nature. Sunset views were beautiful and the amenities were great. Clean and comfortable beds, very nice kitchen with amazing coffee grown on site!! Hosts were also friendly, and unobtrusive.

The lodging was great. Clean, full kitchen large lani and great-room. The hosts provided beach chairs, towels and umbrella and very willing to provide shell crackers when we cooked some crab legs. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect! Such a nice relaxing place to stay. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Beautiful views. Cool comfortable nights. The noise from the frogs was even soothing at night for the 3 nights we were there but can see how it would be a nuisance for some. Highly recommend Donnas place.

Only two nights at this sweet retreat. We would have loved to have stayed longer. It's as exactly as described. You'll find everything you need. Check in was easy and welcoming. We were left some treats, fruits and coffee from the owner's property. Lovely sunsets from the gazebo.
