Constant sound of ocean waves were divine. The secluded beach was just right. Nice walk to town. Loved watching the waves crash from the twin bed window. I would stay here again.

The condo was quite cute and very clean. All amenities were provided and it was great to have a washer and dryer so we had clean clothes to take home. As a side note… the private beach is very nice, but be warned, the trail to it can be treacherous, especially after a couple of rainy days. Would certainly recommend this condo

Everything was great and very well supplied. Was bummed that the window over the day bed didn't open, but I understand. There is no AC so it can get warm. And I would agree that the chairs on the patio should be a bit bigger so you can sit out there longer - to dine, read, etc.

We had an excellent stay at Sealodge. You can’t beat Princeville. It’s such a great location. The condo was great. Fun beach color scheme and decor. Nice second story unit. Comfortable bed and pillows. Comfortable couch. In unit washer and dryer was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I feel so fortunate that we were able to stay at this lovely condo for 4 nights during our 20th anniversary trip to Kauai. The photos accurately show the condition of the condo- it is clean, updated, and decorated with a nice beachy vibe. The ocean breeze keeps the condo cool such that we did not miss air conditioning despite daily temperatures in the 70s-80s. It was so inspiring to watch the sunrise over the ocean each morning. The condo is fully stocked as noted in the description and there are also kitchen essentials such as plastic wrap, bags, foil, coffee filters, and many different spices/seasonings. There is a Foodland grocery store conveniently located 5 minutes away. Sealodge is a nice, quiet condo community and the beach is beautiful and private. We saw several turtles on the beach and also many fish while snorkeling there (better snorkeling than we experienced at nearby Anini beach). The trail down to the beach could be challenging for some, so wear appropriate footwear with traction (we wore Chacos). There is a nice walking/running path in Princeville that is accessible just down the road from the condo. It was majestic to view the mountains across the golf course from this path in the mornings. Don't miss the pizza at Hideaways right near the condo! Trust me- the spinach and pear pizza was amazing :) Thanks to Alexis and Gifford for sharing your Kauai retreat with us!

We really enjoyed our three days at this lovely and well cared for condo. We experienced rain, but also got some photos of incredible sunrises. You couldn’t ask for a better view! A dream location.

This condo is so bright and airy, instills that “vacation mode” feeling as soon as you step in and appreciate the gorgeous views and beachy decor. Screens are in good repair, so just threw open the windows and with the ocean breeze and fans, no need for AC! I spent 8 nights in this beautiful space, falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the ocean, waking each morning to the most incredible sunrises imaginable! My mother and sister joined me for 6 nights, and with the pull out couch and day bed the space was very comfortable for the three of us. While I do travel with my own snorkel gear, there is gear provided at the condo. Especially appreciated the beach chairs and towels. My favorite snorkeling spot on the North Shore is Anini Beach, just a short drive from the condo. It’s a nice walk to Princeville Village and Foodland for groceries. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. Highly recommend the Fish Market in Hanalei for the fresh catch of the day. We found amazing fresh produce sourced from the island at the Princeville Open Air Market! The owners were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Mahalo for an incredible first experience on the north shore ~ see you next year!

Approximately 3 weeks before we arrived, we were message by the owners that the pool was in disrepair and about a week before our arrival I decided to check to see if it was fixed as a pool is important to us. We were informed that there was no information on a date for repair and things run on Hawaiian time so the repair date was illusive. When we were in Princeville for a bit we were told by several people that the pool had not been operational for months! That did not sit well with us as it felt like this was an important detail that wasn’t disclosed to us before our final payments were made. We noticed the need for further updates in the unit. It has been partially updated. It is very well stocked as far as supplies available for guest use and we appreciated that. It could use some more repairs, a better patio set that is better than uncomfortable plastic chair set, and a good cleaning (corners, baseboards, grout on tub etc). There were games available but mostly for more than 2 people. The television was okay but we couldn’t sign into our streaming accounts as we are Canadian and we couldn’t sign it. There is no cable. There is no place on the property in general where you could possible meet people other than the bbq which are older and use briquettes. We had an issue with our washing machine draining and the plumbing is old so it flooded out the unit below us. The view was spectacular but we would trade it for better amenities.

We loved our stay at this unit . The unbelievably beautiful view and the seabirds flying by the windows were wonderful. The snorkeling at Sealodge beach was great. We snorkeled there when the sea was calmer. It was very convenient to just take the 15 minute from the unit, no worries about losing personal belongings . Cooking was very easy with enough space and high quality equipment. We had everything we wanted for a great stay. We loved it so much that we rebooked for next year while we were there.
