The condo was clean and felt spacious. The vies from the balcony was beautiful. My only wish was that the balcony would have extended to the master bedroom. Then you would have truly had an oceanfront view. The view from the balcony was a bit impacted by the condo building on the left.

Immaculately clean. Very quiet. Peaceful ocean sound
I would say the check-in process for this rental unit made me uneasy because I wasn’t sure what surprises or potential issues might come up. My vacation is meant for relaxing, not for reading contracts and worrying about unexpected terms.The rental listing never mentioned anything about a separate contract. However, after I booked the unit and paid the non-refundable fee, I received an email stating that I had to sign a contract in order to receive the check-in information. I’ve never encountered such a process with any of my previous vacation bookings.They should clearly include this requirement in the listing so potential guests know they must sign a contract before paying a non-refundable fee.Because of this check-in process, I would not recommend this rental unit to others — although the unit itself is good.
It is a very nice place, but Princeville for us was a liitle too limited on things to do in walking distance. We prefer having more options, but thats just us. The rental was very nice and clean and the neighborhood is very nice and always felt safe.
Great property with easy access to Hanalei and north side beaches.
Great place overall. Pillows need to be upgraded. Microwave clock is broken. Should have an emergency first aid kit.

Our stay was exactly what we hoped...chilling and enjoying Kauai. The location is beautiful with gorgeous views from 3 rooms. The balcony will be greatly missed! The only thing that might need to be replaced is the master was a bit squeaky with any little movement. The top level is perfect if you are looking for a quiet location on the property. We look forward to visiting this beautiful getaway place. The sunset off the canyon was very much enjoyed. If you want to sleep with the sounds of waves this location is perfect.
The property and unit were great! We enjoyed the beautiful views from all of the rooms, especially the primary bedroom! The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many of our meals there. It was also nice to enjoy the pool in the afternoon after our daily hikes/ trips to the beach. Appreciated the convenience of using the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!
This was our first stop on Kauai, and we really enjoyed the panoramic views. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, and relaxing on the deck while viewing the beautiful ocean. There is a nice breeze which helps keep things cool inside. We drove into Hanalei to enjoy the beach and for some meals. The local market had plenty of supplies and fresh food, too.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The unit was nicer than it looked in the pictures and the sounds of the crashing ocean were incredible.
Lovely, comfortable, quiet condo with an unsurpassable view! This was our third stay at Ali’i Kai and this is my favorite unit yet. So close to shopping, walking paths, and my favorite beach (Anini), yet very private and peaceful. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.
