Mauna Kai 5A is a completely remodeled, fully air-conditioned haven with a fantastic location in the heart of the North Shore Kauai's Princeville. This spacious, bottom-floor townhome has two comfortably furnished bedrooms, a large living and dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen. You'll also find a generous wrap-around lanai with a variety of seating and outdoor dining options, with access from nearly every room! Throughout the space is a carefully curated selection of artwork from local Kauai artists that adds to the modern Hawaiian charm.

The location at Mauna Kai 5A couldn't be better, either! The sun-drenched Anini Beach is just a quick 10 minute hike away, down a shady tree-lined path, and the complex itself is right by the beautiful grounds of the Makai Golf Course. You can follow the course greenbelt all the way down to the 1 Hotel at the other end of Princeville, or simply take in the beautiful scenery on a morning stroll. The Westin Resort is a 5 minute walk down Wyllie Rd, and offers quick access to the Starbucks, grab and go minimart, and upscale pool-side dining at the Nanea restaurant! For a wealth of shopping and dining options, including the Foodland grocery store, the Princeville Shopping Center is a mere 10 minutes walking. Enjoy happy hour at Tiki Iniki, or try Hawaiian shave ice while you're there (get it snow capped, trust us!). Every Saturday morning you can walk down to the Princeville farmer's market, too! For even more shopping and eating, the adorable town of Hanalei is a quick 10 minute car ride away, as are the renowned beaches of Hanalei Bay. We also highly recommend making the trip to the Limahuli Gardens (30 min driving) to learn about Hawaiian culture and the native landscape while taking in truly incredible views of the mountains and ocean.

The Mauna Kai facilities are perfectly situated for a staycation if you prefer to do less and relax more! The sizeable pool has plenty of sun loungers, gas grills, a shaded cabana with outdoor dining tables, and restrooms and showers. It's the perfect spot for a long day in the sun, or for a family barbecue!

Looking to make your away around the entire island? Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is about 75 minutes.
